So, I started writing this arc at the start of August, when I was on the plane to Corfu... its now January 2024 and I'm writing this retrospective on the train home, lmao.
In my defense, I wrote half of it before going off to Uni, then I got busy. The time was good though, it let me sit on the story and develop it organically. As I wrote, I became less constrained by the plan I had for the arc and more invested in what works for my characters - "where does the story want to go?"
E.g. At first, the climax of the mind path was going to be Jan letting Nay in during the fight. When I came back to the story in November/December I decided that the story might be better if I let that sit and be a point of conflict for the next arc, since I didn't want to rush it.
Going into today, with part 8 (episode 13) I fully intended on creating that almost betrayal by having Jan use the path with Ryan, not Naomi. But, as the story came to a close, it just felt right to let them have a happy ending. Our girls deserve a good anniversary! (Doesn't mean that I won't do conflict though, it's all about it fitting the story.)

Thank you for coming back and reading this though. I hope that this arc is better than the last, I've made tweaks every time I re-read it (and I read the entire story before each writing sesh, lol).
Big thank you to my man Brandon for encouraging me to keep writing this - love ya! I'm really enjoying writing this, and I'll try to keep writing when I get the time. Been running a DnD session every now and again which has really helped me to continue developing my storytelling, but it's mainly improv and not the same as just sitting down and writing.
Not gonna do an image this time, cause I don't wanna procrastinate any longer. I'm just gonna leave you guys with a thanks for reading, appreciate ya, and let's keep doing like my boi Superman & make a better tomorrow.
Also, trans rights are human rights.
See you next time for an arc from Ryan's perspective =)
