Chapter 63 - The Woman Who Wanted Me Dead

For the next consecutive mornings, Alessandro made a detour to the garden before heading back to his quarters after his sword practice. Unlike the first time, though, it wasn't mere coincidence that brought him there. He intentionally sought out the same spot in the garden, knowing that Lucrezia seemed to have a preference for that particular area. He was appalled by his own actions, and he could hardly believe that he was getting increasingly curious about Lucrezia out of all people. Heaven knew that he had never been interested in her outside of a bedroom before.
