Xiong Yong and Zhuzhu rush to Wang Shóu, and hug him.
"Roar!" (You...you're okay, boss Wang Shóu!)
"Screech!" (I'm so glad to see you, big brother Wang Shóu!)
They said, overjoyed and their eyes has turn red, almost about to cry.
"Don't cry....I'm here and alive."
Wang Shóu showed a warm smile to them. It is really nice to have companions who are genuinely worried about his safety.
Soon, after a few minutes, Xiong Yong and Zhuzhu finally calm down, and ask some questions.
"Roar?" (So, who are they behind you?)
"Oh them?" Wang Shóu look back at Clefairy, Corvisquire, Basculin, and Larvitar, who are gathering woods to build a huge treehouse.
"They are our Pokemon companion!"
"Meet Clefairy."
A small cute pink creature happily wave at them.
"Corvisquire."
A big black bird carrying woods with his claw, elegantly bow toward them.
"Basculin."
A green-white fish floating on the air, simply nodded at them.
"And Larvitar."
A small green creature, simply snort before finally nodding toward them.
"Screech!" (They look so cool, and Clefairy is so cute!)
"Roar..." (Though they seem kinda weak...)
Upon hearing Xiong Yong's word, a tic-tac mark appear on Wang Shóu's head.
'Calm down....Xiong Yong didn't actually mean it that way.'
Taking a deep breath, Wang Shóu gesture toward Xiong Yong.
"Don't be so quick to judge that."
After saying that, he took out a Scarlet Blood Fruit from his inventory and toss it toward Corvisquire.
Corvisquire drop the woods from his claw, and nodded at Wang Shóu. Then he peck the Scarlet Blood Fruit, consuming it.
A familiar cold-thrilling sensation rush through his spine and overwhelming Blood Essence course through his body.
Corvisquire's body shone with brilliant lights, illuminating everything around.
In the brilliant lights, Corvisquire begin to undergo a drastic changes. His body begin to expand, growing even further. His wing expand drastically, and his feathers begin to turn metal-like. His claws become sharper, and his beak enlarge, capable of pecking through most objects.
Soon, the process of Corvisquire's evolution is over, and the light of evolution die down.
With the light dying down, it reveal a large, avian black bird resembling a raven. Most of its body is a lustrous black, like an obsidian. Its feathers are like an armor, harder than even steel. And his front body resemble a smooth plate armor. It has a crest above its eyes, resembling a crown and its eyes have white pupils, red irises, like a gaze from the God of Death.
He has evolve into Overlord of the Galar Region's sky, Corviknight!
"Roar!" (I take back my words. Now he feels very powerful and look intimidating!)
Stars appear in Xiong Yong's eye as he marvel at Corviknight's evolution.
Corviknight proudly raise his head. "Chirp." (Don't underestimate me, I'm the 3rd most powerful Pokemon beside Wang Shóu and Lei Feng!)
"Screech." (Thats amazing!)
Zhuzhu clapped, feeding Corviknight's ego, and Corviknight laugh happily.
"Alright, now that we're done admiring Corviknight's evolution, let's go fight spirit beast!"
Wang Shóu said, pumping his fist, 'And level up at the same time!'
"Roar." (That might be more difficult than you think.)
Xiong Yong suddenly said, interjecting.
Wang Shóu look at Xiong Yong and tilt his head, "Oh? Why do you say that?"
"Roar." (Well, in inner region, spirit beasts would already form a clan, and are especially reluctant to fight.)
"Huh, thats odd. Why would spirit beast in inner region, be reluctant to fight?"
Wang Shóu grip his chin, pondering, "Ah, I think I understand the situation."
After some thinking, it's not hard to deduce the situation.
Unlike what usual Douluo fanfiction showcase, it is actually very hard for spirit beasts to reach 10,000 years cultivation age.
And it even becomes more impossibly hard to reach 100,000 years cultivation age.
So, usually after spirit beasts reach 10,000 years old, they would settle and try to form a clan in order to secure their bloodline.
That is why it is very rare to see lone spirit beasts in inner region.
This way of survival has its own advantage, as they won't be easily attacked and have their family members to support, but it also has its own disadvantage.
The competition for resources will be much more fierce since other clans become their competitor too, who wants to feed their family as well.
And so, if one is not careful, it could turn into all-war war between two clans, often resulting in disastrous ending for either clans.
Obviously because of this, spirit beasts in inner region are much more reluctant to fight unless they are absolutely sure, which is very rare as no spirit beasts in inner region are weak.
"Oh, boy...That is not a good situation for me."
Wang Shóu irritatedly scratch his head. He doesn't have to worry about advancing to 100,000 years old as he have his system that allow him to level up.
However, in order to level up, he need to fight against other, and defeat them. But if others is not willing to fight...it become a massive problem.
His rate of leveling up might become even slower than when he level up in the middle region!

Provoking an entire clan is obviously not a good idea. Even if he try to quibble, saying he just wants a fight, no one will obviously believe him.
