when they all being out run. roach and Henrietta runs from street to street.
right now both of them are being chase by the group of enemy soldier.
the reason was Henrietta used her mana strings magic and use the enemy soldier as puppets.
even her intentions was good. the enemies didn't like it since this puppet soldiers are their friends. so forcing them to fight each other was very cruel tactics from them.
gritting their teeth.
the enemy soldier attack their former comrades and killed them. but even though they died. Henrietta use her mana strings and captured the unfortunate soldier. causing it to repeat the cycles.
this cause the enemies became furious to Henrietta and the soldiers who turned into human puppet accepted their fates.
all soldiers rush and killed the two human puppet. but it didn't stop there.
knowing Henrietta will control one of them. the near soldier didn't hesitate to kill the soon to be controlled puppet. and charge forward.
this makes Henrietta to be surprised and got a bit of a panic as the angry mob was charging them.
roach who was drag into this didn't left out, as he was also attack by the angry soldier think he was acquaintance of Henrietta.
"little girl, I'll remember this."
"shut up old man, if it wasn't from your stupid suggestions and support. we're never in this situation."
when Henrietta use the mana strings. roach though that it will be their comeback and use them as hostage to let them go.
but unfortunately, the enemy was too stubborn and roach suggest to attack them with their former comrades.
as a result, they been chase by the angry mob as roach carrying Henrietta in his shoulder while Henrietta fired low rank skills.
thanks to the bow she used, she became good at accuracy and hit the enemies using fire ball.

when Henrietta saw the enemies, she use her mana strings to stick in the soon to be falling building wall and pull it.
as a result, many enemy soldier was killed by the fall of the rubbles and killed them. although some of them are injured, Henrietta doesn't have a luxury to saw if they either dead or alive.
when they reach the city square. several soldiers block their way and some even pointed their long range weapons at them.
"tsk, looks like this is the end."
as he prepared for battle. Henrietta used her mana strings to captured two corpse in the ground using them as puppets.
this cause Henrietta to burden her focus but she didn't mind. right now, both of them are in a pinch but they didn't gave up.
when things got escalated.
the woman who wears the Soule academy uniform landed near the enemy soldier as spoke in seductive tone.
"oh? a mana made of strings, this very interesting."
Henrietta look at the woman in front of her and widen her eyes.
"....you?! you're from the expedition team right?! why are you here and not only that. in enemy side?!"
upon saying this, roach look at the woman who was once their allied turned into enemy and sigh.
"I see, so you are the traitor hmmm.."
upon roach words. many of the surviving soldiers and civilians in the city look at her with anger. they really want to curse her but there is nothing they can do.
the woman didn't bother or defend herself from his words but rather she smiled mockingly.
this cause everyone to enraged but she didn't care.
"lady Amita, what's brings you here?"
a soldier who carried a crossbow ask as he still looking at roach and Henrietta.
Amita look coldly and ask.
"is this the people who still resist?"
"yes."

as she look at Henrietta who has a unique skill. she then ask.
"you peasant, where did you learned that skill?"
when she ask with authority tone. Henrietta didn't spoke and she was preparing herself for the worst.
she knew that she will never win to a early third stage mage. but she keep her vigilant as she looks at her.
when Henrietta didn't talk, Amita frown and in a cold tone.
"fine since you won't talk then die."
when she wave her hands. multiple ice spear was shoot towards them. although it was a low rank skill. Henrietta knew that she was playing them.
Henrietta control one of the dead puppet and block the incoming spear. as it was stab by the ice spear.
the other puppet attack Amita with it's sword. but Amita didn't panic and remain calm.
"how pathetic."

out of nowhere, the earth like spear stab the puppet from groin to head. but Henrietta wasn't finished as the puppet throw the sword in it's hand.
the swords speed was slow as Amita only dodge it but she never expecting the another attack.
roach appeared in front of Amita as he swing his sword.
the reason why Henrietta was still alive was due to roach's skill.
although he successfully gets near her, she wasn't alone.

the arrow for one of the soldier hit his hands and torso but even with the wounds he didn't stop as it slash her waist.

the metal like sound came from her waist and spoke in a cold tone.
"fools."
Amita wave her hand and a large rock hit roach's body sending him few meters. but Henrietta who was still in the back tried to save roach from the impact.

when roach was saved, Henrietta was feel her mana was already depleted as she couldn't release more mana strings.
this makes Amita look at her with cold gaze and spoke.
"hmph, I guess this the end."
Henrietta couldn't help but gritted her teeth. she been wasting mana from the battle but no matter was she do it's over for her.
"hmph, trash should remain trash."
"oh really?"
before she could cast another spell. Amita and the others look at the direction from the voice.
a group of 6 people wearing a red robe with a golden lines on side of the arms. Henrietta couldn't help but shock and spoke in surprised.
"grandma's disciples?!"
the leader of the group couldn't help smiled and said in a friendly tone.
"it's been a while princess."
