In a place far from the Demon Slayers and their upcoming conflict, a charcoal family lived on Mount Kumotori near the town of Okutama in the Tokyo Prefecture
(N) I did say this was three years prior to the stories main events but I didn't know when Tanjiro was actually born at the time, that being in August of 1900 and I said it was 1906 when getting here I will be fixing it as of now to make it 1910 instead.
"Hmm…. At this rate you will only have a few more years to live Tanjuro-san." I said to the rather weak looking middle aged man who could only smile as he and I both sat on a stump across from one another.
"Haaaa…. I always knew I didn't have long to live, I just never knew why this affliction came to be…." He said quietly as we were far and enough away from the house to keep away from his wife and children so they wouldn't hear the news.
"Well I know why it is you have become like this, it's because you can see it can't you? The hidden world where you know the very movements of my bodies muscles and bones and instinctively you can already see what I will do next before I even do it now cat you?" I say to him and if it was anyone else they would normally been shocked, but his reaction was rather mild as he sat and looked at his hands.
"I always had a feeling that this sight of mine was slowly chipping away at my life, it just saddens me that I won't be able to see my children grow up…." Tanjuro said sadly but it almost felt as if he was accepting this fate of his.
"There is another way to get around this curse, there used to only be a bad way to escape a curse like this but those that came from the west taught the monks and healers of Japan a way to cleanse the curse from one's body and to even heal the soul, ridding yourself of this maladies that are draining at your life, and I can offer it to you." I said to him and for the first time I could see shock in his eyes.
"And you can't refuse, think of it as a gift, only those that have those eyes or those that bare the mark can handle receiving, so you and your eldest can bare what I'm about to hand to you." I say before holding out my hand to him.
"My son…. I see, you mean this mark huh?" He said giving his hand to me before pointing to a similar looking mark on his forehead that his son also bares.
I just nod to that, "Now, get ready." I say before taking a deep breath and beginning, "For it is through Freedom that we Achieve Immortality. Through this we become a Paragon of Liberation and Choice, to rise above Fate. Infinite in Possibilities and Unbound by Death, I release your Soul and by my hand, free thee."

"So, that's the wolves den." Sanemi said as we all looked down from a cliff overhead.
Hidden within this valley of mist was the current location of the ever elusive and moving Infinity Castle, this is where Muzan and his strongest Upper Moons resided within.
"Now I will ask you again, do you desire to go in quietly or do you lot still wish to begin a frontal assault on Muzan's Castle even when you clearly know the risks in doing so." I said turning towards them to gauge their reactions.
But it seem that unlocking their spiral powers and Aura has strengthened their resolved, they went to the mountain of Spiderlilies where many captured demons resided within and were killed more or less like a human would be.
Stabbing a demon through the heart or brain without even decapitating lead to the demons death, though Akaza thought otherwise.
"While it gives you lot your advantage what is clear is the remaining Upper Moons are a completely different story and they all need to be killed by decapitation as stabbing the brain and heart will hinder but not kill them, especially Muzan." He said pulling himself out from my shadow while everyone still had there hands on their hilts as if ready to strike.
It didn't help that when the sun had just risen I introduced them to my newly acquired servant/guard in the form of Akaza, when they saw him and the Kanji still on his eyes they went to strike and he was prepared to fight back but one hit of my overwhelming pressure stopped them all in their places before I told them of who he is and why he was now their with us.
Not only that but I quickly fixed his eyes to remove the Kanji of Upper Moon 3 from his eyes, but even when things were explained and they saw he wasn't a demon anymore, knowing he was and that he must have killed many people didn't please the Heroic Demon Slayers.
But he was now in my service to repent for his sins and as such he no longer works for Muzan and works for me and through him we can locate the exact position of the Infinity Castle which lead us to where we are now.
"As I said he is now in a bound contract and can't betray me even if he wanted to, thinking about doing so would put him in immense pain that his immense pain tolerance wouldn't be able to ignore." I said trying to calm their nerves, which seemed to work as they let go of their blades.
"Master, I can feel it, ever single Upper Moon is within the Castle and I Feel Muzan has called everyone for a meeting, what you did to both me and Doma must have put him on edge losing two Upper Moons within a single day has never happened before, not to mention what you said to him obviously angered him severely." Looking at the Castle you could see a blood red mist surrounding it, plenty of people must have been unintentionally killed by him and drained of their lives for such a blood mist to appear.
"How aweful…." Mitsuri couldn't stand the sight of so many people dying like that, and I wasn't happy about that either.
I have met plenty of bad people in my life and I was even a terrible person in my last one but he is the first real Monster I have met in this life, one that deserves no mercy nor remorse from me and any who desire to cut him down.
I took a deep breath to calm myself before cracking my neck as I sighed.
"When we get there I shall keep Muzan occupied, the rest of you will be on your own fighting your own battles, I shall give you these should any of you be on the brink of life and death." I say before reaching into my Yukata, buying the things I desired from the system shop, and handing them each one.
They were Talisman with the words of 'Iki No Kyūseishu' otherwise known as Life Saving Talismans as I gave it to them before they became motes of light and entered their bodies.
"If you are put in a situation where you can no longer continue on or you are killed by an attack from one of them the talisman will activate and return you back to headquarters, fully healed but unconscious from what had happened, be it your severely poisoned or dismembered once the talisman activates and you escape all the wound you have will be healed." I tell them before glaring at them.
"This doesn't give any of you the free reign to act recklessly or carelessly, if you do and you 'die' because you know you have a second chance at life will give me a completely justified reason to permanently seal your Spiarl Powers for good and weaken you in the process, both spiritually and physically at that." I tell them which they nod in return before Changling joins us once more.
"Young Master, everything is ready, just say the word and your will shall be done." He said before bowing his head towards me to give the orders.
I pull out my sword and cut the air as space is severed and a path between where we are and the entrance to the castle was open.
"Demon Slayers! It's time to finish this!"
