Chapter 51 - Peculiar First Customers

Soon after I had the store I went inside to check it out, it was a nice sleek modern general store, it sold everything in normal sizes and also in bulk sizes.

Food, clothing, exotic goods, books, survival supplies, hygiene products, even appliances could be found in the many isles of the many different things this store had to offer.

And in the back we also had weaponry, enough to outfit an entire army, from the 17th-18th century at least with flintlock weapons to cannons and even revolvers.

And in a separate section of the store, hidden behind two huge doors we had the homunculus section with the many different species that exist in the world of One Piece to be made into homunculi thanks to the dna of their races.

Though compared to the slave prices of the world, the Homunculi are a bit cheaper in comparison, Humans- 450,000, Dwarves, Minks, LongLeg, LongArm, & Snakeneck's- 650,000, Fishmen- 1,000,000, Giants- Males- 49,000,000/Females- 9,500,000, Merfolk- Females-65,000,000/Males-1,000,000/Parted Female- 9,500,000, these are the prices for these races of homunculi.

They were a bit cheaper than their regular slave counter parts and that was more due to their shortened lifespans, they could only live half the lifespan of the normal lifespand of their respective races.

Though if someone pays me a fee I can extend it for their homunculi, but it only works on Homunculi, at least for this current level of the Store, down the line it might be possible to extend the life of people other than homunculi possibly even curing lethal illnesses.

Now I also realized that I could buy those rare things from the store itself and sell it to people, but since I wouldn't be getting SP back if I do that then I don't see a reason in doing that at all.

Thus unless I really have to, I'm not planning on selling anything outside what can be sold through the shop.

So with a grin and a nod, "All World Good's is now open, but I need someone to monitor the overall business and do deals while I'm absent, someone who has also had their own web of connections and also worked in their own underworld during their life." I begin to ponder as I look over the Fate System and think about my next summon.

"Man I can only summon 14 right now, with Serenity taking up one slot, so who am I supposed to take instead?" Florence didn't count as she is Mikan's one and only servant/teacher where as I could summon 13 more, but it might increase at some point if I can unlock the extra servant summons like Foreigner, Alter Ego, Avenger, Ruler, Moon Cancer and Pretender later on, I don't know what the hidden parameter must be met to unlock those ones yet.

"So who fits that bill then…. Wait! I know who fits perfectly! He's the only one that will fit perfect here in my white/black Market store!" I grin as I type up his name and pay 500,000SP to summon him to my side.

Meanwhile in Mangrove 13, inside Shakky's Rip-Off Bar, Shakky(26) the owner of the bar was reading a book as it was only the early evening at this point in time.

Her bar was quiet and Desolate, like it usually is, but that didn't matter to her as this was her own place where she had no worry's or any real responsibilities to deal with.

"Hmm? What's with the lights?" She questioned as she looked up after noticing the bright light reflecting out of the corner of her eye as she looked and noticed something odd.

So she put her book down and went up to the window to see what was making the extra bright light around now.

"Is that…. When did that show up? That wasn't there yesterday." She said a bit surprised seeing a huge building in the next grove over from hers.

"Well, my curiosity won't be satisfied if I don't go and see what this place is all about now will I?" She says before grabbing her jacket and heading out before putting out the close sign on her bar before heading over to the building not to far away from her.

Elsewhere, a man(?) could be seen running through the Mangroves as fast as he could.

"Where did that Birdman go?!"

"He couldnt have gone that far! Keep searching!"

"We've got a million berry riding on his capture boys! Don't fuck this up!"

Shouts can be heard from several people that were giving chase to the birdman.

"God Damnit! Why the hell did I have to eat that fruit huh? That shitty ass devil fruit turned me into this fucking Birdman and I don't know how to go back to normal! Ahhh! Is my dreams of a journalist gonna go up in smoke just like this!" He couldn't help but curse himself at his shit luck and that the slavers were hunting for him.

This was Morgans(15) the man who would become the News Emperor and an Emperor of the Underworld in the future, but as this is before he even set off on his journey as a journalist, a major road block has come at him head on.

"Cmon! These clawed feet better work for climbing!" He shouted to himself as he used his bird feet to rapidly scale the sides of the Mangrove Trees to hide in their tree tops up above.

"Got to find a place! Anywhere to hide!" He began to rapidly moving his head around searching for things, luckily his enhanced bird eyesight let him see things that were off in the distance easily.

"There! That place looks new and all but I don't think Slaver Dens can afford to make their bases look so extravagant! This is my best chance!" He said as he ran across the winding and combined Treetops to make his way towards the big building in the distance.

Back at the Store Entrance, the door slid open which surprised Shakky as she hadn't ever seen doors that slide open automatically like this.

After her initial surprise she got over it and walked in, she felt the nice cool breeze from the building as she came in, in stark contrast to the muggy heat outside.

Soon enough she began to look around the store and saw a plethora of various different things that she saw, most of which were necessities that one would need to survive here on the Grandline.

She soon began to wander the isles, seeing everything she wished to see, though lingering in the books and clothes areas as some things peaked her interest and decided to buy some for herself before walking around some more.

"I wonder what else this place has to offer? She muttered as she began to move around more seeing home appliances and strange things that she didn't know what they did exactly as she tested them out after reading what exactly they are before moving on and seeing the plethora of weapons that could arm a small army alone.

Then she came upon two large doors, but not knowing what was behind them, though it did see a small sign saying, 'See Store Worker for Entry' so she left it be and moved on.

After seeing what she wanted and all she wanted to get she headed towards the front of the store where she saw a long counter area cut off by sections where other staff members would stand behind and help out customers.

But only behind one an older gentleman who looked to be in his mid 40's to early 50's as he was wiping down a shot glass, behind him was a large selection of alcohol's with another door in back which said 'Alcohol Barrels' on it before he turned to look at her.

"Ahh, are you finished with your shopping dear customer?" He says with a gentle smile before putting the glass away and resting his hands on the counter as he looked to her as she approached.

"Well, I guess you could say that, I'm very surprised that a building like this appeared in only a day with no noise whatsoever." Shakky said before placing her goods down on the counter.

"Well, Young Master is a very powerful man, and with his knowledge he can quite easily create building both big and small with just a snap of his fingers." The man said while not going into to much detail.

"Young Master? Is he the owner of this establishment?" Shakky prodded for more information.

"Of course, and he left me in charge of this building in his absence, I would like to say this myself but Welcome to All World Goods, my name is Archer and I do hope you enjoy your visit." He said as he gave a slight bow in thanks for the first customer to arrive at this establishment.

Though as they were talking, the second customer of this store came running in, a bit surprised at the sliding door, but didn't think about it to much before going in a bit deeper before stopping to catch his breath.

"Damn those slavers…. I hope I lost their trail, I just hope they don't barge in here to find me." Morgans said as he looked back nervously before looking around and soon seeing both a man and woman looking at him with raised eyebrows.

"What? You've never seen a Birdman before?" He asks at them both who look at each other before back at him before shaking their head no.

"But it doesn't matter, since your here I shall treat you as a customer until proven otherwise, so welcome to All World Goods." Archer said as Morgan's approached them both after feeling neither were hostile.

Little did young Morgan's know was that this store would be his best chance to start his career in the world of Journalism.
