"You alright Stocking?" I asked her after we had gotten our room for the night here, after all while winning the race was never really the point we still needed to come along with Gyro and Johnny to get a better understanding of the Spin.
While one would think me coughing up blood was for show, it actually wasn't as right now my Spiral Energy has a cap to how much I can use it and if I exceed it I can feel my guts being torn apart as a result.
As it stands I can't eject it out of me for ranged attacks or anything overly fantastic like before, but on top of that as my main power source has been sealed away my other powers have weakened as a result.
I don't have access to my strongest of magics as my Spiral energy was linked to my magical circuits on a spiritual level, when I made the sacrifice of my energy to fill the holy grail it effectively made most of my abilities become nerfed in the process.
I am still much stronger than a human and my bodies defense is on par with LinLin's without Armament Haki but the thing is that because my main source of power comes from my Spiral Energy all my other powers are linked to it, and thus being cut off from more than 99% of my power has thus hindered or completely disabled those powers entirely.
The only thing that was unaffected by me sacrificing my power source was Fortunate Son himself as while connected to my soul he doesn't exist from my power as he is just an embodiment of Fortune and Good Luck itself and thus even in my current state I still had full access to him.
I'm even lucky I was even able to keep one percent of my former powers as if he didn't interfere by gaining aid from Alaya to help fill the empty Holy Grail completely I would be in a much worse state than I currently was now.
"I'm alright, though I do feel like something did change, I just don't know what did change." Stocking felt something but she didn't know what it was.
"Well it should be fine, we can figure out what happened later." I said while stretching my neck as I wanted to rest.
We had arrived a full day ahead of schedule for the original time we were supposed to make it here thanks to Fortunate Son leading us through the fastest route in the Devils Palm and thus noth-
*KABOOOM!*
Suddenly I was sent flying from an explosion above us, not only me but stocking as well leading us to be ejected out from the room we were in, me smashing through a wooden wall and Stocking out a window.
*Slam!* "Ugh fuck!" I couldn't help but groan out as I cough out the dust that had gotten in my mouth from the sudden explosion before coughing a bit and picking myself up as I looked around.
The Inn we were planning on staying at was wrecked, but that wasn't the point as I looked around to find Stocking on the ground with glass sticking out of her.
"Stocking!" I shouted out before checking on her only for me to stop as my eyes widened a bit, shards of glass were sticking out of her arms and legs but what began to make my blood boil was that a large glass shard was sticking out of her left eye.
I grit my teeth before going to her and pulling out all the Glass embedded in her including the one in her eye as I ran what I could of my Spiral Energy to stop her bleeding, "How did this happen? We were supposed to be ahead by a day so there's no way he should be here by now!" I couldn't help but mutter as I bandaged her up.
"Master, I think this is all apart of this worlds plot, certain events no matter what you do will unfold as they should unless you did something major like killing off key characters in the story that weren't meant to die at that point in time then this world will still ultimately follow its plot even with your existence within it." Fortunate Son explains to me internally as I grit my teeth while I finished healing Stockings wounds, however I didn't have the power in me to regenerate an eye and it would have to wait until I deal with a certain asshole.
"Stay here Stocking, I will deal with this personally." I say while I begin to walk away, though as the dust moves around in the air what appears to be a throne and a person sitting with one leg over the other sits their while leaning on their arm as they watch the Show that was about to begin before the dust settles and the throne and person disappears completely by Stockings body.
"Gyro! Who is this guy!" I here Johnny call out to Gyro while I see Mountain Tim laying on the ground covered in blood as his body was currently in his unraveled rope state.
"Oyecomova, he's a terroist from my country that tried to assassinate the King by blowing up his carriage, luckily he got the wrong carriage but several of the kings family members were killed in the explosion as a result, he was captured and was sentenced to execution but he was able to escape." Gyro went onto explain about the guy standing before them while he was holding his Steel Ball Tightly.
"Gyro! The best way to remove the effect of the stand users powers is to kill them, unless this guy dies you won't be able to get away from those pins!" Mountain Tim explains to him on how to deal with his power that was effecting him.
"Man, why do you have to go out of your way and ruin all the fun, but as it stands now Gyro won't be able to use his hands whatsoev-"
*Bang!*
"Ugh! Fuck!" Oyecomova collapses to the ground as he is suddenly shot through the back of his knee and clean right through making him unable to stand.
The gunshot surprised them as the dust fully settles to reveal me hidden behind it completely out of view from their sights until just now, "So, your the one who blew me out of my bedroom just now I take it?" I say to the guy kneeling on the ground.
He turns and looks up at me with gritted teeth, "Who the fuck are you?!" He shouts at me before I smash my fist right into his face making him fall to the ground as he held his head.
"The guy who is about to give you a slow a painful death." I say only to hear him laugh at that.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that, especially when your about to lose your arm." He said looking at me with a smug grin on his face.
"Shit! Hifumi! You touched him! Now you got pins on you too!" Mountain Tim shouted out as I looked down at my right hand that had clockwork like pins sticking out of it.
But the look on my face didn't change even though I knew this as I could see him visibly begin to sweat as my eyes began to light up like a fire as I stomped down on his broken leg making him groan out in pain as I crouched down next to him.
"Hey, Oyecomova was it? I wonder, are you immune to your own Stand Powers?" I asked him before I shoved my fingers into his mouth right down to the knuckles that had the clockwork pins on them.
"Hifumi!" Johnny shouted out at me but I smiled to him.
"Here's another lesson for you Johnny, for both the Spin and the Spiral you got to have faith." And then-
*Clink*
*BOOM!*
The explosion rang out from where I stood as Gyro and Mountain Tim were both sent flying back with Johnny's horse freaking out and barely getting him to control it as to not fall off.
Though as the dust settles from the explosion they saw me slowly begin to stand up and dust myself off, "You see Johnny, all you need is to have faith and there is no telling how far you will go with the Spin and the Spiral."
But saying this I realized I couldn't stick with Johnny and Gyro for the entire race and that we will need to separate for a time.
I have my own goals to accomplish by coming here and I can only get so much from Gyro alone so I had another goal I needed to complete.
Find the Saints Corpse Parts and find my own sense of 'enlightenment' to lead me down a new path of power needed for the future.
