"I am glad that you were willing to come back with me to my office young Yamada, along with allowing those of Lorelei's brigade to be allowed to live from your powerful comrades." Zelretch said to me as he now sat before his desk here in the ClockTower in England.
Not only could he pass through parallel timelines but the kaleidoscope, the power that allows him to move between timelines, when not aimed at other timelines can also allow the user to travel vast distances so long as he knows where exactly it is located in physical space.
"Well from everything I know about you, while your rather laid back on things, your one of the few people in this entire world that I can't possibly beat, so even if it had the slightest chance of making you hostile to me I would stop what I was doing entirely, unless of course it was protecting those I care about, then I would be left with no choice but to fight now won't I?" I said to him making it clear I neither wanted to be hostile to him or the ClockTower, but it's a different story if he or anyone else targets me and those I care about.
Hearing that he nodded, "That I can completely understand, but it's best we get to the main topic as to why I have you here, and really all I have is one question to ask, what exactly happened to this world?" He said with a stern look as he leaned forward with his hands in front of him and looking straight at me.
"I know what your talking about, however your going to need to get more specific, and that what is said here won't be told to anyone else unless it's absolutely necessary." I said as out of anyone outside of my group of allies and friends he is the only one that I would believe wouldn't say anything whatsoever.
Saying that he nodded before the room began to rapidly change and shift shape and went from being his office to being his personal workshop, "Now then, nothing and no one, not even Alaya herself, will be able to listen in on this conversation in this space that she has no presence within." Zelretch explained to me basically this space was departed from Earth and the 'influence of humanity' itself leaving this place a blind spot for Alaya, the will of humanity manifested.
"Alright, ask your questions and I will answer as best as I can, though I hope you can answer some questions I have as well in return." I said to him as I had pressing questions I needed answers to the Shingami refused to answer me when I asked.
"Deal, now then…."
….
…
..
.
"Haaaa…." I couldn't help but sigh as I laid down on the top of my roof while thinking things.
It had been a few days since that incident and school started up again but what Zelretch told me made me realize something that I kept refusing to believe as true but with someone as old, wise and knowledgeable as him and equating everything I've come to realize from this world made one truth very obvious to me.
"I'm just another one of those novel characters aren't I? No I guess the better term would be a fanfic character right?" I couldn't help but ask but no one came to answer my question.
Not even Shinigami responded to my question at all making me sigh, but my mind was strong enough that I didn't instantly go into an existential crisis on my very existence.
'All stories that humanity has ever made since the day our kind was able to put our thoughts and dreams onto clay tablets, papyrus, tapestry, scrolls, paper and now online in this day and age were all made from the worlds those authors saw and dreamed of and brought to life in this world and across all timelines, even though those stories were written down as stories by those from outside their visible universe it doesn't mean that everything that exist within those worlds are not real.' I could hear his words repeating in my mind.
"Any story that is written might have a planned path of how things will ultimately go but what happens between point A, where the story started and Point B, where it all ends at is blurry for those 'authors' until they 'see it happen' before drawing and writing it down to say it existed." I muttered to myself as I thought about it.
And thinking about it now with me being able to jump into stories of different worlds, One Piece, Kill La Kill, Akame ga Kill, League of Legends, Panty & Stocking, Cyberpunk, and Demon Slayer, those worlds were from video games, Anime and Manga, but they all exist within their own worlds and I changed their stories making them not the same as thier originals, me being able to do all of that should have allowed me to put two and two together and realize I am obviously a part of a story myself." I couldn't help but say as I sighed before chuckling.
"It's funny because now I'm also writing stories others made to have them exist within this world so people would know about them and even writing the story of my old life into a manga itself, does this technically make me the author of my old life that I'm just writing the experiences I went across back then only now so people can see it for themselves?" I said as I let my thoughts wander while I didn't know what to think about it all.
So I thought about it while I stared up at the moon on this cold January night while I watched the steam of my breath come out of my mouth as I kept thinking about it.
"I wonder why most other people who are thrown into situations like this, reincarnation or transmigration into another world and they don't come to realize that they are story characters themselves…" I say while I raise my hand and look towards it as I came to realize something.
"I might not truly exist to those who see, read and maybe even write my story, but I know that 'I' do exist even if those who see my story don't believe I exist in 'their world' but it doesn't matter if the Author who writes my story can only write it as it happens and at most point my life in a general direction and see where I will go along the journey from the beginning until the end then I will enjoy it and live it however I see fit, even if I live or die by the end of it all, my story shall be always my story to make." I said to myself as I clenched my fist and felt a sense of relief and lightness overtake me.
Saying that my status panel appear before me with some text on it, but it was in that same chaotic language I've seen before that I couldn't read.
Though these strange letters slowly changed before becoming real words that I could honestly read for all to see.
[To You Who has seen Beyond the Horizon, and realized who you are within the multiverse and accepted that your existence exists while also it does not while not losing who you are with the will to live your life the way you want, even if a guiding force stands behind you, accept these gifts for your understanding and willingness to continue on with your life]
[Title: Beyond the Horizon, Understanding of Infinity(Abstract)(1/3)]
I read that for awhile and sighed before chuckling a little bit, "I think the Author was worried I'd kill myself after realizing I'm just a story somewhere across the vast Omniverse that all stories are connected to." I say before smiling.
"I feel like whoever they are, they must be looking down on me a bit if they thought I'd kill myself just from coming to this realization, but I won't refuse a gift when it's given to me." I say before looking at the two rewards I had gained.
[Title: Beyond the Horizon- No matter what you come across in this massive Omniverse of stories, whether it be sentient or inanimate, you will have a basic understanding of it at a glance along with knowing the story that thing or character is from, what their powers are, what are their weaknesses, anything that is known about that being within their story and so long as you know that story you will know how it should be dealt with, and even if you don't know them you will have to just learn if that's worlds story for yourself]
"Wow, it's like those appraisal skills from those other stories that most MC's get, and even if I don't know anything about that world I can just buy that worlds story and all the information on that person or thing will be available for me to use to my advantage, now what's this other one?" I say being impressed with what that title gave me, that way I could understand every world I go to with at least the minimum of know what story I was getting in if I can't tell the world I go to from quests description.
[Understanding of Infinity(Abstract)(1/3): one of the three parts needed to understand infinity and be able to use it in all applications, for long distance travel across multiple multiverses at once, defense that makes attacks physically, mentally or even spiritually never be able to reach the user and inflict infinite damage or the very concept of infinity onto a person or object, (Abstract) Infinity is now available, all gate ways are unlocked and All Worlds are accessible to the user of the 'True System]
All gates are free to travel
All worlds are within reach
Even the worlds where they reside in can be reached now
"….. I see, hehe, seems like I won't have to wait for them to finally reach me, but I can when I know where they are, hunt those 8 down instead…." I mutter to myself as I remember everyone of their faces as I looked towards the stars.

But it's my life to live and my life to choose, for now though I'm going to relax for awhile before understanding the concepts of infinity when the time is right.
"All I can hope is find someone across the multiverse who could teach me these things, but I have at least one in mind…." I slowly began to close my eyes as I was left with my thoughts and how to live my life with this knowledge in it.

"You know there's going to be a portion of the people watching this story that will complain about this right?" Shinigami said as she watched a man typing away on his computer.
"I'm more surprised that characters in all other stories that they are in when they suddenly appear their through reincarnation or transmigration don't automatically think that they are already in a story from the start.
But maybe the human mind doesn't want to realize that their 'existence' is only real because they believe their 'reality' is real and not a false one, who's to say that My Reality isn't a fake one?
Maybe someone is writing my story as we speak, as they see it happen in real time with no clue how my future will go and at most have a vague idea what might or might not happen to me in the infinite possibility's that is my life." I said to her as I turned away from desk to look at her properly.
"But he knows he's not real-"
"No he has realized that he exists but also doesn't exist just like I have come to realize that as well, though unlike him I don't have the powers to jump across worlds with that knowledge, instead it's given me the creativity to create more and more interesting stories in the future." Look at what I had written before saving it and publishing for everyone to read.
"And realizing where he exists in the wide Omniverse of stories allows his potential to truly and completely become infinite, now I think it's best to return to him." Is all I said to her leading her to sigh before sinking into a portal and returning to his world for me.
"Now then, how will your story unfold? I'm interested in seeing what my dreams will tell me and the story that is your life." I say before turning off my computer and going to bed.
