I should mention this but in Hifumi's last life, as Six and/or Iseri, he never watched or read Kakegurui and only knows about this school from his own research he has done himself while living his life in this world.

(Hifumi POV)
Tatami floors, traditional Japanese sliding doors that lead out to a back courtyard that has a zen sand garden with various rocks spread around with two connecting koi fish ponds that has a small bridge going over the stream connecting the Koi Ponds.
"This is a rather beautiful place you have gotten for your club." I say while enjoying the sights of the room and the garden behind it as well as I messed around with the metal ring I had gotten recently on my hand.
"Yes, I am quite proud of what I have accomplished in the three years that I have been here to make the Traditional Club into what it is now, the Koi fish ponds were only added in the past year since becoming the club president." Yuriko nodded and seemed pleased that someone from outside her club and school appreciated the aesthetics that her club had to offer.
"That's quite amazing, but I'm being rude aren't I? You haven't even introduced me to your lovely friend here." I said as I turned to look in interest towards the the rather nice but stern looking girl who was standing nearby.
"Fufu, not at all Hifumi, this is Kumagusu, she is my second in my club along with being my shuffler for my personally made gambling game." Yuriko said as she introduced Kumagusu to me.
"A pleasure" I said holding out my hand while unconsciously exuding my high charm stat to the poor girl.
"O-oh uh, um *ehem* me too." She said slightly flustered as I shook her right hand before slowly pulling away, though I noticed something odd.
But not wanting to mention it yet I looked over at the game they had set out, "This looks like a modified game of Roulette, with tiny swords?" I said as I sat down in front of this game of theirs as I looked over these small game piece swords.
"Yes, this is a game that I invented myself, I call it 'Life or Death' simply put the dealer, which is for the most part Kumagusu's job, throws these small swords into a cup before placing it down on a section of the board meant to determine which numbers are chosen, ones with with the blades pointed at or on top of specific numbers are considered Life numbers and the one who chose the numbers wins thirty times what they bet." She explains making me raise my eyebrows in surprise.
"Thirty times? I'm surprised you would be able to make payouts that large if someone bets that much." I say but she shakes her head.
"But most end up choosing Death, that being the blades handle, landing on their desired number and thus they then lose thirty times what they had just betted in that match, though if neither side gets life or death then no one wins and all the money is returned to the players and the game is over." She said finishing her explanation of the rules.
"It really is life or death betting for anyone who plays this game, the player can win big or the house wins big as no one knows who will really win." I say as I scratch my chin as Yuriko sits opposite of me as I'm playing with one of the tiny swords as Kumagusu sits in the dealer's position.
"However…." I slowly say as my brown eyes began to glow with an amber glint to them as the room suddenly became heavy.
"…. That is of course if the game wasn't rigged from the start."

(3rd Person on Celestia)
"Usually the one challenged would be the one to set the game, but I will allow you to choose the game that we shall play." Kaede said as he pushed up his glasses while he stared down at Celestia.
"Well then I will thank you for this, then the game we will play will be a modified game of 'Kitsune Bakuchi' I do hope you know of it yes?" Celestia asks Kaede who just nodded.
"I know of it, but I have yet to play it, it's a dice game where each player has three dice and the main goal of the players is to try and get all three dice to be three of a kind to win, and usually places that play it the player would get four times the payout for getting that amount when betting against the house." He says which Celestia nods while Sayaka grabs two cups and six dice along with poker chips.
"That is the rules for the original, however as this is Choice Kitsune Bakuchi there's a difference to the rules a bit, since this isn't a gambling den what we bet each round is all we bet, each of us at a minimum must bet 10 million and must match the other for whatever they bet or if they don't have enough they must all in as forfeiting means forfeiting all of your money to the other so you can't quit unless you can no longer continue." She said before explaining the rest of the rules.
"We roll our dice, one of us bets with the other needing to bet just as much as the other when we put down our cups, the one to bet for the round gets to decide high or low and we reveal our cups, if high is chosen then whoever has the highest number wins, if low is chosen then whoever has the lowest wins, the complete exception to this rule is if one of us gets three of a kind as that is always a winning hand, if both sides get a three of a kind then whoever has the higher three of a kind wins, if there is a tie then no one wins and everyone gets there chips back." She says before holding up her suitcase.
"I have only 100 million on me which will be worth 100 chips, you can obviously have more chips than me but unlike your schools system if I run out of chips then I run out of money and thus I'll leave the school as a result since I can't go into debt, with that said, does it sound fair to you Kaede-san?" Celestia said laying everything down for him as she played with her hundred chips she had received.
"Seems easy enough, then you shouldn't have a problem with me betting 500 million against you then?" He said before several stacks of chips were put on his side totaling up to five hundred chips.
"Not at all, however I hope your not taking that much money out of the student councils funds to make such a large bet." She said with a smile that didn't reach her eyes as her red eyes started to glow a fierce light.
To that he sneered as his eyes began to glow as well at the match to come, "No, this is all out of my own pocket, now then, shall we play?"

Okay my bad next chapter starts the real matches as I felt like having Hifumi call out their cheat right away while also explaining the game both Celestia and Kaede were about to play against each other before the real games begin for both.
