Chapter 18 - Oh Okay, Thanks Shingami for not Telling me Something so Important!

"Well at least it's easier to talk to you than I thought it would be, though it's true that meeting you was by accident if anything." I said as my inner thoughts matched what I was saying as well.

"'Though that doesn't explain why you know me, though if I had to guess it's something related to whatever your doing here…. It doesn't feel like a psychic power but something different.'" He says as he gives my bounded field a once over before looking back at me.

'How should I explain this that's easy to understand.' "You have heard of future sight right?"

"'Yeah because I have it myself, but I don't use it because it makes everything boring in comparison when you know everything, I made my dad forget I had that power when he wanted me to use it so he could win the lottery.'" He says as he pushes away the empty cup of coffee jelly.

"I have it as well, but only for specific people that have, let's say have interesting stories to say the least, so I know who you are Saiki, but I don't get anything out of it if I just tell the world your a powerful psychic as this world has changed dramatically from what it should have been." I shrug as I shake my head.

"'Your losing me here'"

"What I mean is that this world has become a melting pot of stories, of worlds and alternative realities merging into one, making the world we inhabit now, a completely different one, one where you don't have to constantly go and reverse the planets time by a year every year to keep a cataclysm from happening." I say which makes his eyes widen as he knows for a fact that when he does that he is in such a remote location of the world that there isn't another human for tens of thousands of kilometers all around.

"'…. Alright, let's just say I believe you for now, tell me then, what is my future you know oh so well?'" He says as he raises and eyebrow at me.

"Well let me ask, are you in Highschool yet or not?"

"'Next year I will be, why does that have to do with anything?'"

"Oho, that's where things get more 'interesting' for you, it's where you'll make a bunch of friends when you had no intention of being friends with them and it's a result of coming to know you that they end up being really annoying for you to deal with, but after awhile you get over it and find their comedic stupidity to be normal, but doesn't mean the annoyance from them won't go away." I shrug as I see his face darken when he hears that.

"'…. I'm afraid to ask but how annoying we talking about here?'" He says as he looks up at me.

"Let's see, a guy who looks like a typical gangster who is the dumbest person you'll ever meet, a super level Chunni, a girl who will bug you to make you fall for her, a hyper active athletic guy, a guy who used to be a gangster but wants to live normally, a perverted ghost whisperer, a snooty rich kid, a poor girl that's working multiple part time jobs outside of school when she shouldn't, another annoying girl who keeps trying to make you fall for you but gives up easily if you make it impossible for her to win you, a psychic girl who falls for you because she finds out your also psychic and that your also her type, a kid from your childhood who realizes your a psychic, and a bit more but those are the main ones from your school if I exclude the weirdos you meet outside of school and your parents." I say as each person I mentioned made him physically take damage as he could see I was telling the truth in my words as he slumped further and further into his seat as he let his face smash into the table.

"'Please…. Please tell me your joking….'" He said as he slightly lifted his head, but with his ability to detect lies he knew I was telling the truth which made him slump over again.

"'Ughhh….. I already have to deal with my idiot parents on the regular and now I'll have to deal with a school full of idiots.'" I could feel the sense of dread physically wafting off him.

"Well nothing you really could do about that, and since you don't want to get noticed for your powers by the rest of the world, getting invited to Hopes Peak and becoming part of my class next year is a no go, then again us ultimates are all weird in our own ways, but it probably wouldn't be as annoying as what you go through." I say with a shrug before I get up and hand him a slip of paper.

"But if you want to hang out at my place and get away from all the annoying guys then just give me a call and I'll help you out, but if I'm working on my manga then you'll have to play one of my consoles in my living room while I work on it, I don't mind you teleporting in if you want, but ask me before you do that alright, don't want my editor or my assistant seeing you just pop up at my place out of thin air." I say as I crack my neck and dispel the bounded field around us.

"'Huh…. Yeah I'll think about it…. I'm just gonna stay here…. And think about my future…. I guess….'" The feeling of depression coming off him was giving a natural dark aura as he imagined such a dumb future that he will be part of, but I know he will ultimately suck it up and live with it, probably stopping by my place to visit every once in awhile.

But all I do is shake my head after saying my goodbyes and heading out on the town again, it was only a little past 2 on a Saturday and since I'm taking a break from working out and all that, I'll be back to working out on Monday and tomorrow I'll keep working on my mangas as Crazy Crazy Love will be publishing soon which will begin to boost my points some more as a result.

So now I was just aimlessly wandering around the place before I came upon a rather beautiful park full of Sakura trees, though this time of year they weren't blooming but nonetheless it was pretty.

Though in the middle of this rather pretty park I saw a girl who looked like she was in her first year of Highschool who was just trying to walk through the park.

The word 'Trying' is in heavy quotes as she was nervously walking, looking at the ground with tears in her eyes, but it's not cause she was crying but it seemed involuntarily from what I could tell.

She was wearing some normal casual clothes with long black hair and yellow irises that seemed to slightly glow even when the sun wasn't reflected off them.

"…. Haaaa…. Shinigami…."

"Haaaiii, what do you need of me my adorable hamaster?" She appeared and said to me all cutesy like.

"…. I'm going to ignore that terrible pun, but I'm wondering, why didn't you tell me that ghosts outside of you also exist in this world? Specifically the ones that look like their from the works of Junji Ito?" I say as I know the girl who is trying to act normal but is scared out of her mind because of the things she sees surrounding her.

"Why? Well aren't you afraid of ghosts in the first place master, besides any ghosts that tried to do anything to you since you became a part of this world were obliterated by me for encroaching on my territory, and now that your a Spiral human being your the equivalent to a blackhole of any, except me, spiritual being due to the Anti-spiral and Spiral energies acting the equivalent of a meat grinder to spirits and ghosts." She goes onto explain why she did what she did and that it doesn't really matter because of who I am are now.

"Well that's a relief, but I think it's best I help this girl be able to live a normal life and to fix her eyes." And speak of the devil and it shall answer.
