After awhile the sun began to set in the sky and finally night fall was upon us, we we're currently on top of a nearby building overlooking the entire harbor area.
"That's where we need to be." I point out the one office building on the office front, but problem is there were drones flying around, a few heavy mechs and guards patrolling everywhere around the place.
"Hmm…." I looked around for points of entry, there was the gate but unless I'm coming inside through a Arasaka car it's no good, There was from the water but the water is a cesspool and I'm not swimming in that shit.
"Those pipes, looks like a rather low guarded area, probably best to cross there." Kiwi suggested which I looked over at them and nodded.
"I'll take that path then, think you could hack one of the cameras from here?" I say as her eyes glow before nodding.
"Looks like all the cams are on one system so it's easy for me to have eyes everywhere." She says while flipping through the cams.
"Good, I'll head out then, if shit goes south use the sniper to cover me." I say as I pull out a foldable sniper rifle from my jacket before putting the parts together while leaving here a few mags as I screw on the silencer to the top.
"Well let's hope it doesn't come to that then…. Also the hell you wearing?" She looked at me with a question mark as she saw me in what could be called a skin tight grey full body suit with various pouches and body armor in the right places as I tightened a bandana around my head.
I looked at her and grinned, "Optical Camo Armor, so long as I crouch walk or crawl on the ground I become invisible from visible light, downside is it doesn't work against thermal optics like the Optical Camo Cyberware does, this is my outfit if stealth is a high priority, though it's real name is the Sneaking Suit." I say combing back my hair as I crouched down and disappear from her sight.
"…. That's a dumb name, but whatever if it helps, and from all the guards I see none have thermal optics on them so it should do well enough for this Gig." She says as she grabs the sniper as she focuses on the cams as we left coms open.
I soon land down on the catwalk over the pipes as I pull out a silenced pistol as I make my way in.
"Ones walking towards you." She tells me as I hide behind the crate as I stay invisible while he walks on pass before I began to crouch run which was silent thanks to the Sneaking Suit before I stopped at another crate as I looked at the other guard who was smoking while blocking my way.
"Best to take one out to make the way back faster." She tells me which I just nod before standing up as my body becomes visible before I grabbed his mouth and shoving a knife into his throat before I turned him around and opened the crate as I shoved his body in and closing it.
"Smooth, now move." I hear and nod before going invisible as I make my way inside the harbor area before hopping on top of some shipping containers.
"Three guards ahead, you think you can jump the gap from the containers over to the main building?"
"I could but there are drones patrolling the rooftop, those and the mechs definitely have thermal optics, can you give me a visual on there route?"
"Just a sec…. Got it, you see it now?" She said showing me what looked like the drones doing a figure 8 with each other as they weaved in between the sky lights.
"Yeah, which one has access to the inside from the skylights?" I say before leaping across the gap and hiding behind some electrical transformers.
"The far one from you, wait for my signal." She says as the drones go past me before turning right and going towards the center of the figure 8 where as ther other was doing the same as they met in the middle before continuing there route.
"Go." Is all she said as I crouch ran as I saw the other now going north with the closer one going south as I went into the center and opened the window before dropping down below.
"Should be an office on the second floor, that's where the access point is located, but there are three guards inside and one guarding the door." She says as I crouch down as I look from my vantage point.
"Hmmm…. Wait I see a maintenance vent, does that lead into the room?" I ask her but suddenly I see all of them and the guards eyes light up before they rapidly left the room and headed down to the ground floor.
"Kiwi? I don't like this." I say as I leap over to the area and head into the access room before putting my personal link and beginning the upload of the Daemon into the systems.
"I dunno what's going on, I'm getting a lot of chatter from the guards, a big shot is coming personally, Hifumi you need to move and fast." She says as I hear a hint of urgency in her monotone voice.
"Fuck, I'm getting Faraday on the horn." I say finishing the upload, luckily the Daemon won't activate until we are off the site.
It didn't take long until he answered, "Hifumi, I'm getting a lot of chatter about the Harbor, did you go and blow your cover?" He asked in a stern tone but I wasn't having any of that.
"No we didn't, the guards are all abuzz that a big shot in Arasaka is coming here personally from what we over heard." I say as I make my way out through the window I open and leapt out onto some containers before going behind cover from the drones that were scanning everywhere for anything out of the normal.
"Big shot? But only…. No, no but why would…. Dammit! Hinako Arasaka is heading there herself! Get the hell out of there, both of you! And fast!" He says after telling us who was coming.
"Kiwi you get that? Shut down all the cameras for a minute while I get out of here, meet up at my car!" I say before using my Sandi in bursts to pass the patrols while hiding from the cams.
"Got it, there down now get going." She says as we cut the coms as I'm nearby the wall between the harbor and the street.
But just then several AV's came from above and entered where the harbor area before landing and several Arasaka agents stepped out as I saw them open the door to the most luxurious AV as Hanako Arasak herself stepped out.
But what really worried me where the two Asian men who came out with her, both being her main bodyguards and both are master and student to eachother them being both Sandayu Oda and Goro Takemura.
"Need to be much faster then." I say pulling back my sleeves before pulling out my mantis blades.

I then used my 15 second window to pierce the wall with my blades before rapidly climbing the wall before hopping over the wall and landing down into the street, avoiding the blockade by Arasaka before running towards the empty parking lot before coming to a stop.

"Hooo, that was close." I say opening the car door and getting in before turning on the car and driving it out of there.
"Well let's tell Faraday jobs done." She said leaning back as she lit another cigarette to smoke.
I just nod and make the call, "Hifumi, I take it you made it out, also didn't hear any alarms going off so you must have gotten away unnoticed even with the sudden arrival Hanako and her personal guards."
"It was close but they never knew we were there, and unless they do a head count they won't even realize there down one guy until it's too late." I say as we began to head to the AfterLife to meet up with the rest of the Gang.
"Well good, gigs closed and your funds will be sent to your accounts, and Hifumi if your interested in anymore Corpo gigs let me know, someone with your skills will get you far in this Biz, but until then" He said hanging up the call as we both got a sweet 150k in return for the job.
"Yeah right you slimy prick, Kiwi you know your code you have of don't trust anyone?" I say as I look at her.
"Yeah? I'm guessing he's definitely one I shouldn't trust?"
"Let's just say if the bastard offers you a deal way too good to be true, then it is and he will shoot you in the back for going along with it, he may pay well but he's known for screwing us Mercs over and if he didn't have the Eddie's and connections Rogue and the rest would have kicked him out of the Fixer gig for good and definitely put a bullet between his eyes." I said clearly pissed at the things I learned about him.
"…. I'll keep it in mind then." She says before continuing to smoke her cigarette.
"…. Hey I gotta ask."
"Hmm?"
"How the hell do you eat with that on?"
"…. I have other mouth pieces besides this one, I just take this off and put on a normal one, downside with a normal one is that I can't breathe as well without this one on." She explains to me.
"You know I could help you get a better one so your not so limited as you are." I say before pulling into the AfterLife Parking lot.
"…. I'll think about it." She said as we both got out of the car and headed down to the AfterLife.
Now is time to celebrate for a job well done.
