Aldrich's concentration staggered for a moment as Ash's figure from previous life overlapped with the current one.
"I can't trust him, but I will go along for now", he smirked, knowing very well what Ash was planning.
"Okay! Let's work together to defeat him." he agreed to Ash's proposal, as both leapt towards Jake, pinning him from both sides.
Jake flared his mana and jumped in the air using his spear before summoning numerous illusory golden spears over his head.
Aldrich followed his trail, jumping in the air as the both of them exchanged strikes mid-air. Ash took advantage of this opportunity as he stomped the ground, and numerous vines erupted from it, heading straight for Jake.
Jake directed the illusory spears towards the vines as he landed a barrage of thrusts towards Aldrich, which were skillfully parried by Aldrich's twin swords.
