"Sigh... well, time to get out of here."
[Agreed, Host]
He slowly rose from his bed, still feeling a bit injured. He realized he hadn't received the promised reward, and frustration welled up.
"Damn... hey system, help."
[...Host... do you remember what you said before?]
"No, I don't."
[....]
[What do you need, Host?]
"Heal me first."
[...Host, please, I can't.]
"Okay, then. Give me the main mission."
[Sure, Host. Take this one.]
[Mission: Distort their space-time.]
"Wait... what about the previous one?"
[It's still there, but you must complete this mission.]
"You know... whatever."
As he left his room, his bodyguards stood at attention. He commanded them with an icy tone, "Come with me."
"Yes, young master," the bodyguards replied in unison.
"Good." He made his way towards his room where Haku used to be, but he knew Haku had left long ago.
"(Why am I wasting my time here... sigh)," he thought, growing more and more frustrated.
As he approached his room, someone blocked his way. It was Emma.
"What do you want now?" he said, his voice dripping with annoyance.
She shouted, "It was you!!!" with a loud and accusing tone.
"WHAT, ME?! You little shit!" he retorted, his anger flaring
"Yes, you!" Emma continued, her voice trembling with anger. "You took everything from me!"
He raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "Took everything? What are you talking about, Emma?"
"Don't play dumb!" Emma's voice quivered with frustration. "You ruined my life, and now you act like nothing happened!"
His lips curled into a cold, humorless smile. "Ruined your life? I don't recall doing anything to you."
"(what is she even talking???)" in his mind
mma clenched her fists, her face red with rage. "You're the reason my family lost everything! You manipulated them, destroyed them!"
"(When was it it!!, How is even possible, I swear It's been one and a half days, so how)," he continued thinking, growing increasingly bewildered. He then communicated with the system, "(What the hell is happening?)"
[Dear Host, it seems there was a little error.]
"(What do you mean?)"
[Actually...]
The system continued its explanation, [It appears that a temporal anomaly has caused a distortion in the timeline. Events that should have taken longer to unfold have been condensed into a shorter period. It's a side effect of your mission to 'distort their space-time.']
"(So, that's why everything is happening so quickly...)" he thought, trying to make sense of the situation.
[Host, please wait fixing the world now....]
"(ahh, whatever let's finish this now)"
He leaned in closer to Emma, his icy demeanor intensifying. "And what makes you think I care about your family?"
Emma's fury seemed to boil over as she shouted, "You're heartless!"
A cruel chuckle escaped his lips. "Well, Emma, if you think I'm heartless now, just wait and see what I'll become."
