"Why can't you go?" Sky asked Hassan but also got no answer.
I could feel the tension in her voice as she stood up to move closer to the entrance of the cave.
Who knew what lurked out there in the dark? And worse still every moment we wasted asking stupid questions or ignoring really good ones was dangerous because any of those creatures could come bursting out of the paths that lead into the entrance of the cave.
"I got a reward" Hassan finally managed to say after a few seconds.
Sky quickly walked back closer to him and I laid still waiting for what he had to say. Somehow he had made himself more reliable than I thought he was, especially with the insane fight he just had with the creatures.
"... and the reward is an extra quest. To kill the king of the Blizzardkin clan. "
He then paused as if he was waiting for a response but didn't get any because we were still waiting for the reason why he couldn't go with us.
"What's a Blizzardkin clan?" Sky asked with fear written all over her face refusing to give way to the confusion that just set in.
"These creatures" He answered, his voice still and calm like the creepy quiet night outside the entrance of the cave.
" Can't you do that another time? Let's get out of here for now. "
You could hear Sky's voice raise a little bit as she tried to control the fear that was getting a hold of her. She was right to be afraid.
That situation called for everybody to be afraid. I even wondered why and how Hassan could be so calm and collected.
Was that his superpower aside from his excellent fighting skills?
I also couldn't shake off the thoughts of how an extra quest was a reward. 'The people in charge of this must have some twisted sense of humor '
' Congratulations! You get to go on another suicide mission for completing this suicide mission. '
That was totally insane... Speaking of insane, everything that had happened...
"No, I can't. There's a barrier at the entrance of the cave and I can't pass through it"
Hassan pointed at the entrance with a little bit of worry slowly making its way to his countenance.
I looked at the entrance of the cave still wondering where the barrier was.
"I can't see any barrier ."
"It's there"
"Well, we could..." I tried to tell him to try to move past the invisible barrier that held him back but was stopped midway by a thought that popped into my mind.
"I know about the Blizzardkin clan, but you have to tell us about the player's info you were talking about earlier "
A nice trade-off sounded like a better idea, it didn't matter if what he was saying was true or not. I just was really curious.
"It's like those things that showed us our challenges back in the arena; The floating rectangles." Sky answered.
"Oh wow! I know those things!" I had forgotten about them. There was so much going on that I forgot that those floating things were called player's info... But then I had no idea how they could see it out of nowhere.
How was I the only one clueless about it? And I thought what I saw was the player's profile.
"Just try to focus your mind on seeing one of those floating info. It isn't difficult to do"
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked her not expecting any answer and then tried what she said.
Immediately the thought about the floating rectangle got to my mind it appeared, hovering above the floor at the same level that my eyes could stare straight into it. Who knew it was that easy to do?
The rectangle had 'Player 1759 ' with the player's profile below it. It was exactly like it had been back in the arena with the blinking message envelope at the top right corner. But there was something different, something that wasn't there or maybe I hadn't noticed it before. On the left side of the profile, there were three new sets of words hovering a few inches above each other.

'How did I not see this?' I wondered.
My eyes went up to the right corner where the message symbol blinked with the number 10,000 attached to its sign.
'Maybe I couldn't see the three words because they weren't blinking?'
