The next morning, Laurel woke up with a banging headache. She checked her table clock and realized it was already 11am, she was shocked but she thanked God it was a Saturday and she didn't have to go to work neither did Nicole have to go to school.
She was surprised to hear laughter sounds coming from the direction of the kitchen. She could make out Nicole's tiny laughing voice and Ava's but there was a third voice which she was sure she'd heard somewhere before but got a banging headache when she tried to remember from where.
She quickly got of the bed, headed to the bathroom to brush off the taste of fermented alcohol from her mouth and wash her face, put on the nightwear maxi on top of her flimsy gown and walked towards the kitchen.
From the door, she could see Nicole, Ava and a man who had his back to her circled around the kitchen coffee table drinking coffee.
"Hey," Ava who was the first to notice her called and all eyes turned her way immediately.
