He body has now Mana equivalent to peak of E ranker but he can't utilise it yet, as he hasn't awakened and formed his Mana core.
He learned predator eyes by continously using his clarity eyes to know the weakness of enemy, Celes conjure in her training ground for Nova to practice swordsmanship.
Celes can send Nova inside the Grimoire space called infinite world, which is part of the system abilities that are now locked because Nova is unawakened, full access to infinite world is not possible but she still has access to training area of the infinite world, Celes found out when she's finding something that can help Nova with his training.
From then she has send Nova inside the training area regularly, she then use training area facilities to conjure mortal and E rank sword master to spar with Nova, this regular sparring allowed Nova to become peak of advance swordsman in just a year, of course his natural talent also played a huge role in it, Now he only needs to understand the 'Force, a manifestation of one's will and desire', it's also the power that shapes one will and give it a tangible form called Aura, only someone who can use Aura is called Master, when Nova learns it only then he can become a Sword Master.
Celes can't help him with this as her previous master wasn't a Swordmaster, she can only tell him that he requires to learn Force to advance which is proving difficult.
