Chapter 1 - The first kiss!

Childhood is an amazing and unforgettable time in our life. We get bigger and older but the memories we have of our childhood remains intact in all of us. Those were the days, when we were truly innocent and did not have any idea about the conflicting thoughts and emotions of this creepy world. This story is among one of the most memorable events of my life.

Among childhood memories were the days of innocence and fun. The memories of my first kiss hold a great value in my life. It is one of the most memorable events of my childhood. It's the story of the first essence of love, the first crush. This is why she has to be in the first chapter.

I do not know why I used to like her. Like she did not have anything special. She wasn't beautiful or something. She had a tall figure, with haircuts like boys. With two pony tails at two opposite ends of her head. At times, she would look like a demoness from the underworld. Her pony tails were straight , and she looked straight into the air, and she used to wear colourful hairclips on them. It looked funny. But what more can you expect from a girl at that age. We boys, however, were always cool.

Although she was not the most beautiful pf the class, somehow it just happened, and I guess at that tender age, who cares about anything. She will go down in history as my first kiss. Yes, I got my first kiss in the nursery class. It is difficult to swallow the fact that an introvert like me got his first kiss at such a young age.

I was the small gut in the strange atmosphere. Though i studied there before, but still i was pretty young and shy. It was the first week of my nursery class, and this is where i met her. It was a mixed school, so boys and girls used to be in the same class. On that day, somehow, we got to sit on the same bench, and so an unlikely bond started.

I was the quiet guy in the class, always sitting on the backbench, but she somehow found me interesting. We became friends , and our bond was so strong that we became inseparable. And my own childish heart somehow liked her. We used to play together and sit on the same bench. Our friendship got so close that she used to come visit me during our family functions and birthday parties.

It was one of my birthday parties when the event took place. I do not remember much, but she had small hairs like boys, with two hair clips attached to two distinctive end of her hair. We had a traditional set up, and invited many of my school friends and family into the party.

We were playing ,while the so-called boring g adults, which I am now, were just gossiping and doing their thing. That's when it happened. She was smiling and playing, and all of a sudden she came closer to me,I got a bit shy but I was just a kid. So I did not think much. I remember it briefly. She threw her arms around me and hugged me tightly. As if to celebrate the occasion of my birthday. And I stood still, like a moron, when she came close and gently kissed me. I could feel the warmth of her breath as she came close, closed her eyes, and gently kissed me. It was a completely different experience for me, and i was not expecting it. I was confused about the fact that what had just happened, and I did not know how significantly important that event was. Like it was just a random kiss, no feelings or emotions whatsoever.

As I looked up to her, she giggled and blushed, her cheeks turned rose pink. Her reaction filled me with a sense of joy. My friend kissed me, which means we are true friends. At that age, love or relationship was not a thing. We were kids who did not have any idea what we did or how significant it could have been. But as time went by , we changed our schools and slowly parted our ways. Everything changed and faded away, so did our friendship, and so did our life. She is now a stranger living in a strange world. But my fond memories with her will always be there. She will be an integral part of my story.
