Chapter 26 - Chapter 26

"You mean all that happened and you didn't tell me or invite me over to witness everything firsthand?!" Angela screamed excitedly.

"Amebo, it wasn't that amusing, it was just annoying! It's like nature hates me so much that it keeps pushing that fool my way, he is just everywhere!" Mary sighed.

Angela giggled at her facial expression. "It's not that bad" Angela replied in an amused tone.

"How would you know? It was bad enough that I had to deal with him at school but now, I have to deal with him at home too and our moms think we are friends." Mary groaned, Angela burst out in laughter at that.

"Are you serious?!" Angela laughed as she crouched down and held her stomach.

"Which part of my story didn't you understand? And please stop laughing at the expense of my misery!" Mary snapped

"Sorry it's just funny you both can't stand each other and yet you always get drawn together" Angela explained as she straightened herself.

"I'm glad you like it" Mary replied with an eyeroll.

"Anyways how was your weekend?" Mary asked.

"It was bittersweet. My idiotic brother came home for the weekend and brought his stupid friends along with him. Knowing fully well I hate them." Angela said with a frown on her face.

"Why do you hate them so much?" Mary asked.

"Cause they are jerks. The only thing they know how to do is eat, eat, eat, talk about girls and dump their stupid plates on me to wash!" Angela growled.

"Those guys are so annoying! Little sis can you wash this? Little sis get this for me. Little sis go wash my clothes.... Like urgh! Don't they know where the stupid washing machine or kitchen is located?" Angela angrily ranted.

"I feel your pain" Mary replied. The bell rang and they watched as students started rushing out of their classrooms.

"Let's go, the Assembly's about to start." Angela said.

"Guys! It's time to submit your economics assignment!" The class captain yelled to get the attention of his classmates.

The moment they all heard the word assignment they started whispering and rumagging through their bags.

When did he give us the assignment?

Which assignment?

Have you done yours?

Can I borrow yours? I'll give you something in return.

Who has two pens?

Questions were thrown here and there as they borrowed their friends books and started copying.

"Can I borrow your note?" Vivian asked Angela when she stood up alongside Mary to submit her notebook to the class captain.

"Sure, but don't fold it please." She said with a pointed look as she handed her book to her.

Mary gave her an amused look. "You gave your book to vivian? Did you forget what happened last time" Mary said as she watched the girl in question walk away.

"I didn't but you know how she is, if I don't give it to her she'll start badmouthing me even though she is in the wrong. Besides we are in class there is no way she can get oil on my book here." Angela said.

"If you say so" Mary shrugged and handed her book over to the class captain.

The third period was about to begin and the students were busy working on the assignments they were suppose to submit. The class was so quiet that even a pin drop could be heard. The students were all engrossed in their works and squeezed together as they were in their friends sits with three to four people from a single book.

Mary wanted to laugh at the sight but remembered the times she also did the same thing when she was too lazy to do her own assignments or had no idea how to start.

"You all have five minutes to finish up. If you don't I'll go ahead and submit the books that are with me." Henry the class captain yelled, earning groans and insults as answers.

Ten minutes later and henry was on his way to the staff room. He angrily stomped towards the room with the books in his hands. He felt like yelling when some of his classmates ran up to him and handed him their book with sweet smiles that irritated him on their faces. He felt like giving them a tight slap as they rushed up to him.

He finally reached the room and greeted the teachers. He placed the books on the economic teachers desk and was about to walk out when Mr. Ben called him back.

"Here, distribute to your classmates and inform them that I'll be coming to purnish those with low scores later." He said as he handed test scripts to henry.

"Okay sir." Henry replied and walked back to the class.

"Everyone sit down!" He yelled.

They all glared at him and took their seats. "These here are your test scripts and Mr. Ben said said since half of the class failed he'll come to purnish us later. If you hear your name come over and collect your zero" He said with a straight face.

One by one he started calling their names and they all walked to him to collect their script, comparing it to that of their friends.

"What? How is this possible? How did you score higher than me?" Anna yelled as she peaked at Vivian's script.

"Cause I read" vivian replied with an eyeroll.

"No you didn't. And I know that because you copied my work. Give me your script" Anna said with an annoyed look on her face.

She hated when people scored higher than her, especially someone she helped during the test.

Vivian glared at her and folded her script. "I won't give you anything, bad belle, enemy of progress." Vivian said as she sat down on his seat.

"What are you scared of? If your scored it fare and square then show it to me" Anna taunted

"Here, look at it. Satisfied?" Vivian hissed as she opened her script and showed it her. By now everyone was staring at them and whispering. Some even walked up to them.

Anna opened her script and places it beside Vivian's reading their answers.

"Eh heh. Here looking at it" she pointed to a paragraph in Vivian's script. "You think you have sense abi? You started well and then wrote trash in the middle then and covered it up with the correct definition at the end." Anna said accusingly

"And you were shinning your teeth anyhow. I won't agree to this we must go to Me. Ben he has to remark your script" Anna said as she snatched the script from Vivian and walked out of the class.

"That girl has a serious problem" Mary mumbled under her breath.

"I don't blame her, how will you feel when someone that copied from you scores higher than you?. If it's someone else I'll say they read little and added it but we all know Vivian never reads or listens in class. She is the dumbest girl in this class. All she knows how to do is sleep, gossip and go after boys" Angela said.

"She reminds me of someone I need to get back at" Mary smirked.

"Oh please, Dean is not dumb." Angela replied with an Europe

"Not Dean. Yes I need to get back at him too but I was referring to Diane." Mary replied.

"That one, I would have stopped you but that idiot made us fight so do whatever you want" Angela replied with a smile.
