Gu Nuan replied, "It's perfectly fine. We aren't really married. How I dress at home really isn't your concern."
She didn't expect him to suddenly turn his head and look at her.

His lips, naturally arrogant, curved into a subtle arc. This reminded Gu Nuan immediately of the evil old cat in an American cartoon.

"I mean, being able to marry me and then watching that mother and son considering jumping into the river, you must be happier than anyone else, right?"
He actually turned around, laid himself down on the sofa chair, and talked to her, resting his chin on his hands.
Gu Nuan scoffed, "Childish."
