He drove back to the hospital as he rushed to go to the front desk asking if Star is still in there. The nurse confirmed that they haven't check out of the hospital yet and he rushed without caring if he bumped into someone. As he reached the door, he barged inside the room to find Star just reading a book. He didn't hesitate to hug her not caring if she's mad at him or anything.
"What is happening? Why are you hugging me and are you tearing up??" She asked concerned in his situation. He pull away from the hug.
"Star... I'm really thankful that you helped my sister to find me. I'm really really thankful that you did that. I don't care if you hate me or whatever but what you did is great. How can I ever repay you?" He asked still tearing up.
"Based on your reaction, you already paid me. I just want to hear a thank you from you. I don't need a money or anything besides even though we're not in the same closeness from what we have before. I would never forbid you with the opportunity of getting to meet your sister. She's your family and you're a big part of our family too." She said in her serious tone as if she's still the normal Star but inside, she wanted to hug him so tight like how she did before. His dream finally came true and she was the reason why it happened.
"What actually happened to us?? Why did we suddenly grow apart from each other? It's a shock that one day you slowly drift away from me and I'm left with a lot of questions." He said and Stanley stood up to go outside to let them talk.
"Nick, not right now." She said.
"When is the right time? You left me wondering for years. I really wonder why you suddenly hate me." Nicholas said as he just sat there looking straightly at her.
"I AM STARTING TO LOVE YOU. AT THAT TIME, I WAS REALLY MESSED UP MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY. I HAVE TO GET AWAY FROM YOU BECAUSE I WOULD HURT YOU." Star yelled and Nicholas just gripped his hair.
"YOU HURT ME EITHER WAY STAR! YOU PUSHED ME AWAY! YOU WERE WHAT I NEED AT THAT TIME. YOU LEFT ME WONDERING WHAT I DID WRONG! DO I NOT DESERVE AN EXPLANATION?!" He yelled back but with tears in his eyes this time. It kept on falling and falling like a falls.
"You do deserve an explanation, Nick. I am not ready to give it to you at that time. I was broken too. I made some decisions that I can't take back." Star said and a moment of silence filled the whole room.
"I killed our baby. I killed him." Star added and Nick stood up from the chair as he looked at her with such pain.
"What do you mean you killed our baby? WE HAD A BABY?!" Nicholas spoke not knowing about the information.
"I was pregnant when we were 22. At that time, I knew I'm not capable of raising a child... I also don't have the courage to tell you that I'm pregnant and you're the father." Star said as her voice started to crack. Nicholas sobbed as he hugged her.
"You don't have to feel sorry for what you did. We were young at that time. Naive and Indecisive. I understand but you could've just told me about it. I'll be happy to help you at that time." Nicholas said as he patted her.
"Nicholas... I really owe you a lot that's why I did this. I found your sister just for you to experience having a family." Star said and Nicholas shushed her. He cupped her face as he made her look at him directly in his eyes.
"We're still friends whatever happened in the past. We were young but that actions doesn't fully define what we are today, understand?" He asked and Star looked at him with tears in her eyes.
"Yes. I understand." She spoke.
Stanley slowly went inside with a shocked expression in his face. Shockingly, he was serious like without a bit of softness I'm her face.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT BEFORE?" He asked angrily as he looked at Nicholas with a serious face.
"Calm down Stanley. Calm down." Star said but Stanley just sat down and breath heavily.
"I was suppose to be an uncle?? You should've just told me that. I would've help you two. Wait does it mean that you two had sex before?!" He asked in a shocking tone.
"Remember the party at your house before... I think that was the night we had sex. We found out that we liked each other.. I didn't even know that I'll get her pregnant.. I swear if I know I would take full responsibility of it." Nicholas joined in the conversation.
"And you didn't bother telling me about it?? You're lucky I know that you're a nice guy and you're my best friend. If it's some other guy I would've kill him immediately." Stanley stated which causes the two to look at each other the same way they did before.
A phone call was received by Star. She immediately picked out the phone and answered it. She nodded at what the person in the other line was talking about and she looked at Nicholas as she continue to nod.
"I'll tell him. Thank you for calling me." Star thanked the person as she ended the call.
"Who called you?" Stanley asked.
"They know where your brother are. According to the caller, your brother is living with his wife at Generva street." She said and Nicholas looked at her.
"It's alright. You can go now. I know you'll finish the presentation later." Stanley said and he rushed to his car once again.
He is rushing as he didn't waste anytime. It was 11 years of not seeing his siblings and now he met Nikki... plus now... he's about to meet Nathan and his wife..
As he reached the house, he breathe heavily as he touched the doorbell and slowly press it...
A gorgeous lady opened the door with a confusion in her face before asking.
"Who are you? What do you need?" She asked.
"I'm Nicholas Dawson. I am here to meet my brother... his name is-"
"Nathan Dawson." She cut him off.
"Yes, I'm Nathan's brother. Is he here?" He asked and an average height man appeared beside the gorgeous lady.
"Who are you?" The guy asked with an unpleased.
"It's me. I'm Nick... your brother." He said.
