Nonchalantly I pointed "Look a gap in your defense how utterly clumsy of you."
In actuality, their defence was air tight, all 12,000 men were shoulder to shoulder in armor packed as sardines.
Even so, a thick stack of paper still gets gored by a hole puncher.
Charging my fist, "God Strength Magic! +5000, Chasity! (X20)" Total 510,000 Damage...I bobbed and weaved through the assault of thrusting spears with ease and jabbed my fist straight into a soldier's abdomen.
"And…Boom..." A tremendous shockwave blasted their bodies into lumps of flesh, shattered bones and deep gooey red blood. While the ones way further in the back fared a little better, simply having all their limbs blown off and skulls violently shaken imploding from the massive knockback.
All the soldiers within a 90-degree angle were obliterated, the ground beneath them caved by the force. Hit! 4000 times...
"World System Notice - 4000 Armored Phrygian Soldiers slain."
The incredible feat of strength threw the entire formation into disarray, spreading in all directions like ants.
Too scattered to connect against a single enemy, I decided to try a new long range technique.
Although unable to fully utilise my skill chasity to connect my hit against a new enemy for maximum damage, God Strength Magic was sufficiently qualified to do the job, it's raw power already equivalent to getting run over by an Formula 1 race-car at its top speed.
"God Strength Magic! +5000, Shadow boxing style Vacuum wave!" as I unleashed my air punches like a tank firing off shots after shots, "ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!"
The air cannon pressure hitting the retreating soldiers from the back, severely crippling them breaking their spines and femur.
The lovely sound of crunching dry twigs intoxicating.
Hit! 50... 200... 1100... 4200... 8000! Watching the aftermath as I caught my breath.
In my excitement throwing a new technique I unfortunately killed the messenger on accident as well.
"World system notice - Update +8000 all enemies in the vicinity slain."
"Fuck! I got to be more careful…"
"Oh well time to appoint another messenger..."
Shortly after an army of 6000 Elder sigil warriors, and 2000 Ancient sigil warriors arrived, witnessing the blood bath.
They performed a double V formation, and casted directly towards me in unison, "Water prison magic, sphere of torrent!"
The captain in the back shouting, "We've got you now Yuujiro, our team comprises specially prepared water and siege magic warriors to counter you specifically since you are a well-known fire and earth magic user."
"Where were you aiming? I'm right here. What were you even imprisoning?"
Shocked, he looked closer, through the 300-layer thick of water magic sphere, in it was a shitty sand sculpture, with stones for eyes and a smiling mouth. "How did you do that?"
"Hmph, someone of my caliber can use Earth substitution magic!"
One of the men began screaming to the captain. "Sir! look around us a magic circle has been drawn in the sand!"
"Oh ho you've noticed, I'm in a generous mood, right now if any of you take a single step out of that magic earth circle, you'll trigger its power and sink like a sand pit."
One large warrior breaks away from the formation, "he's bluffing Sir no one has heard of such a ridiculous magic", breaking into a sprint he jumped over the line and landed onto the soft sand.
"See! nothi..." in a second, his body had sunk all the way down leaving only his head above ground. The large man had been buried to the eye level suffocating him alive as the army watched him tear and choke on lungs full of sand and die.
A wave of fear spreading through the soldiers, instinctively causing them to step back and shrink inwards, for fear of triggering the trap magic.
All these of course was just a ruse, the moment I saw them trigger the imprisoning magic I had casted my eternal time magic - Universal Aeon.
Taking my time sculpting a sand figure, even picking off seashells and rocks decorating it.
Stepped outside of their trap magic and made a trap of my own.
Using a tree branch all I did was draw a circle around their entire force in the sand.
The moment the large warrior landed outside of the circle I simply snapped my fingers recasting the Universal Aeon. Retrieved the shovel out of my infinite storage and began digging a giant hole, throwing him in and burying him to his eyes.
Frazzled but still focused, the captain issued another command, "Warriors hold your formation and continue to engage through long range warfare magic, once we kill him it should dispel his sand trap magic."
In Unison they cheered "Yes Sir! Battalion Archery magic - Showering Steel!" as they released 10,000 magical steel arrows, raining down upon me.
..."Missed again sir?" as I waved to him several meters where his arrows landed.
"If it is long range you want to see, I'll be kind enough to demonstrate..."
Holding my hand up facing towards their ships, "Artillery magic! - Azimuth!" streaks of flaming fireballs accelerated whizzing through the air and bombarding the 9 uninhabited ships, it's force before exploding on impact breaking through the tough hull of the ship while creating a sea of fire on the ocean.
Leaving only 1 available ship, they got desperate. "Great Fire Mage please stop!"
Turning back to face them, "Why should I, your prince decided to attack me first and endanger those I care about it's about time you've suffered for this insolence."
"Captain... I'll appoint you as my messenger to report back to the prince... make sure his knows what I'm capable of and tell him to start preparing, because I'll be coming for him soon. He should spend his few remaining resources figuring out how to protect himself when I arrive."
"Mourn your men captain… because they're already dead…"
"It's already too late to notice but take a look at your arms you've all been marked by my cursed fire magic."
All the soldiers including the captain screamed in disbelief, they've all had black crosses marked on their arms except the captain who breathes a sigh of relief.
"When did you do this?"
"The moment I cast my fire magic, all those who have seen my cursed fire unleashed will be cursed as long as I will it."
"That's impossible! Dark cursed magic?"
I turned around and began walking, making my way towards the ship, "Goodbye captain make sure you deliver this important message for me, don't worry I'll leave your ship intact, but I'll be confiscating any weapons or items I find inside."
With a cool snap I activated my magic, "Cursed magic - Incendio!"
The trembling captain watched as all his men spontaneously combusted, burning alive, the smell and sight of their burning flesh crippled him unable to move an inch. While the men tried to run and roll on the sand to put it out, it only resulted in failure.
During my third time stop, I had prepared large balloons of oil and marbles wrapped in origami paper lit and thrown towards the ships with Chronos Dios, accelerating their speed and eventual impact. Replicating hundreds of times, I had over 500 deadly balls of fiery explosion ready to fly.
Then I took a marker and began drawing on their arms just for laughs to instill true fear into them.
Then my fourth time stop, snapping my fingers and then proceeding to douse all the men heavily head to toe in oil and simply lit them on fire. All of them simply too soaked in oil to even have a chance at putting out the 'cursed flames'.
The captain wallows on the ground crying at the hell scape he's trapped in, too scared to even leave the sand trap. The following day after his 7998 men had been reduced to skeletons of black char, smoldering in the rain, did he manage to build the courage to run back to his ship.
Meanwhile I had already boarded and raided his vessel, informed and assured all the villagers present of my heroics for them to act as witnesses to ensure the prince's actions were further restricted after engaging in conflict with a part of a foreign nation.
I also ensured the villagers had enough to get back on their feet by cleaning out the entire vessel's worth of supplies.
Allowing them to gain a month worth of rations and even some Phrygian weapons to protect themselves in the future.
"Mr Chronos! You saved us, my sister and I are grateful for your help, we'll always be indebted to you."
If you ever find yourself in Atlantis, you'll definitely be welcomed! Just mention it's the Stella and Psari sisters that you're friends of."
Although the motive was skewed, but the end result of helping someone was always something that tickled the heartstrings.
Like if an old lady was blocking your car, crossing the road too slowly but you decide to support her across to speed her up, her sincere thanks and gratitude is contagious enough to make you feel that what you did 'helping her or in this case saving all of the villagers' was worth it.
I couldn't help but smile back, when Stella an absolute beauty of a siren hugs you skin to skin with a blindly beautiful and genuine smile.
Whispering in my ear…
"If you're willing my sister Psari apologises for before she wasn't sure what came over her but she's ready for you this time" winking at me.
"No no no I think it's best if we keep her beauty for someone much more worthy than I am. Actually my real name is Yuujiro Haruki, and since I'm being honest, I think you're even more beautiful 1000 times than your sister."
She blushes holding her face in her hands, overwhelmed by the compliment. Perhaps she's been told all her life her looks were inferior to Psari back in Atlantis.
Giving me a sweet tender kiss on the cheek, "you're too sweet love, perhaps next time if you're willing, I'll give you something special…maybe we'll meet again soon back in my home in Atlantis."
With a smile and a nod, I said my goodbyes and took flight on Icarus in the rising sun as day light was beginning to break in back to Athens.
