Activating the particular bloodline has doubled my current stats, however the overwhelming defense of the Nemean Lion is going to be a problem, that's only if I somehow override its skill absolute defense. Either way I am still going to brute force my way first and test the extent of that skill.
Channing magic into my sigil, "Legendary Strength magic!" (+1000 damage) in addition to my heightened base stat of 1000, only 2000 Damage output. I need over 6000 damage just to blow past its defense as I stared closely at the Nemean lion, knowing once I look away, I'll be dead.
This is the reason why the guild encourages the formation of parties as all damage within a 5 second window is combined and considered a total sum damage, with monster classes having an exceedingly high defense as it goes up higher in the tier.
However, legendary monsters are seen as a sign of death in this world perhaps only the famous Argonauts party formerly helmed by the guild master could possibly take it on. It was advised in the beginner pamphlet too that you should absolutely run if encountering a legend class.
Then again...Looking at its skills and power, I had already decided that this beast was going to be my next meal without a doubt. "Time to get creative then, time acceleration magic - Chronos Dios!" casting the magic on myself. This increased and doubled my damage output into 4000, let's hope the skill hollow bones carries me through.
Sensing the magical build up the Nemean lion charges, black obsidian claws gouging into the ground closing up the distance between us in seconds, heavy slashing towards me while I nimbly avoided its attacks.
Thanks to hollow bones, I am able to jump and stay in the air longer, as well as dodge successfully despite my speed only at 400 with the help of the demon Chicken's characteristic - Chicken instinct.
A straight charge with claws outreached like pouncing on a prey, I backflipped and jumped into the air, and over its head and punched downwards on its skull with "Legendary strength (Boosted)"
The force was strong enough to flatten the Nemean lion into the ground and cause its skull to bounce off the concrete several times like a basketball. (Damage Output - 8000)
"YES!" the hollow bones skill halves all burdens and in essence doubles up one's speed, with a force strike like this it would also double my force exerted.
(Damage output... 7899 ... 6300 ... 3000 ...10 ...0) startled but not unexpected, the damage counter slowly reversed its count rapidly back to 0. Watching as the White Nemean Lion stood back up and shook the dust off barely inconvenienced.
That skill absolute defense seems like the real deal impervious to force damage and confirmed its invulnerability against sharp damage as well by watching the throwing sharp rocks I threw at it with legendary strength simply bounce off its fur like confetti.
Unwilling to give up I pondered and came to a conclusion that, "Perhaps there is a cap to the amount of damage received and any excess damage would spill over. If the 5 second law holds true this means that I can compile my damage even further, and for me 5 seconds is an eternity."
"Time to double the creativity then", with my palms pressed together, "Eternal Time Magic - Universal Aeon!" Like a big bang, the time magic exploded freezing the world once again.
Casually strolled within point blank range, I tipped the frozen Nemean Lion over with a kick exposing it underbelly. "If I am going to strike the last 9 available strikes, I have left I'll be damn sure to increase my odds.
Like a karate master preparing to break multiple tiles, I prepared my stance over its belly and after practicing 2 times hovering my fist where I expect to hit, took a deep breath and unleashed all I had.

"HIT (9 times) - Total Damage (90,000)" the world system announcing in my head. Exhausted I collapsed beside the beast, watching time slowly return and seeing the Nemean Lion pounded by an invisible force as time caught up to my actions.
The damage counter hovering in my iris, as I sweat beads, heart palpitating almost thumping out of my chest, wondering if I had truly succeeded this time.

Before I could react, the Nemean Lion had clawed my belly open with its razor-sharp obsidian claw. Watching in horror as my intestines spilled out uncontrollably.
Then feeling a heavy warm breath on my neck before a its massive fangs dug into the nape of my neck and ripped out my entire spine. Feeling everything, all the unimaginable pains as every nerve ending flared before detaching from my spine.
Eventually, the pain was too much shutting my brain down to prevent further shock. A blacked-out vision, coldness and fear surrounded me as all I could hear was the sickening crunching of bones before letting out my last breath.
