Lyra suspected that they were asked to remain behind in the vehicle and her suspicions were proved right when she rapped on the vehicle's windows and Phineas pushed open the door.
"You guys arrived earlier than expected" lyra said
"I hadn't expected that either, at first we weren't allowed into the castle grounds without clearance but after finding out we were related to valerian we were finally allowed by the guards into the castle grounds. But we were asked to remain in the vehicle till you guys arrived"
"That much is obvious" lyra replied, most families were suspicious of each other and with noble families it was much worse, since with them it was a tussle for power so they hardly invited guests into their homes. Whoever was invited in was put under heavy supervision.
The balance of the world was hanging on a very thin thread at the moment and families tried their best to avoid slip ups that could end up eradicating the entire family line.
