The part were the object was looked red and a little bit swollen but it vanished a few seconds later, renjiro sat upright on the bed and tried to stand but his head felt a little dizzy, caelia walked towards him and rubbed him on the back.
''finnegan come take him back to his room'' she instructed and Finnegan appeared almost oimmediately, supporting renjiro with his arm and leading him away.
Finnegan kicked open renjiro's door and heaved him onto the bed, renjiro fell asleep as soon as he came in contact with the bed, Finnegan stood there for a while and studied renjio intently, it surprised him as to how renjiro was able to make a come back with regards to his previous state of powerlessness, he instructed myoko to watch renjiro and he walked away.
Elysandra took some of the blood she had obtained and put it on a transparent dish and slid it into the compartment of a machine and put the remainder in what looked like a centrifuge, and closed it.
''elysandra begin the analysis'' caelia instructed
There was a loud whirring sound and data began to flash on the holographic screen, caelia pupils moved with speed tracing every information that popped up, her face contorting with confusion with every passing second.
The machine eventually stopped whirring and the numerous data flashing on the screen seized, elysandra's mouth dropped in shock.
''this machine must be broken'' elysandra muttered
''I don't think it is, but this is the first time I have seen something like this.'' Caelia replied the confusion on her face becoming more evident by the minute.
At that moment Finnegan entered into the laboratory and saw the expression on their faces stopping him in his tracks.
''what is it'' he asked
''come and take a look at this'' elysandra dragged him in front of the screen, finnegan looked at it in confusion and looked back at her. ''I am sure you are aware that I understand none of this scientific jargon''
''if you don't understand it then I wonder why you are always lurking around here'' she said and folded her arms. ''from what we can see here, zephyrus has the strains of all the different continental blood types''
''ohhh!!'' Finnegan said while nodding his head
''and that is strange because?''
''it is strange because the last time we took his blood the readings were different and it is almost impossible, infact I dare say impossible for someone to have all that information in his blood. Even lyra who has parents with very different blood types and pathways doesn't have a tenth of the information his blood has'' elysandra explained
''I see, so is that a good thing or a bad thing'' Finnegan asked again
''for now we can't say, there are no adverse effects but he seems stable at the moment but if his blood information can change this drastically over night then we can't leave anything to chance''
Finnegan nodded his head in understanding, he looked over to caelia who was biting her lips lost in thought, since he came in she had been staring at the screen without blinking. Caelia was confused, she wondered what had happened to her son, at times she felt a strange unfamiliar presence emanating from him but she usually waved it away but from what she could see here it was as if she was looking at a completely different person.
She went towards the machine and took the blood and walked towards what she had been working on for the past few years, elysandra and Finnegan tried following her but she waved them away. This was her private lab and she hardly allowed anyone in here.
Inside the pristine lab there was a blue arcane circle on the table with a seed resting on it, there were numerous equipment all around the room, she stood over the arcane circle and released majority of her energy and the entire castle began to shake, the seed began to bud but eventually reverted back to it's normal state after a few seconds. She groaned in frustration and opened the vial of blood pouring the entirety of it on the seed and arcane circle, the blood shone a bright white colour that turned gold and both the arcane circle and the seed began absorbing it at an accelerated rate, a holy presence enveloped the entire laboratory and castle, elysia who was training furiously with sweat trickling down her body paused and turned towards the direction of the Thornfield family castle.
''what was that'' she muttered to herself and continued with her training
The new energy in the lab made everyone feel like bowing down to pray, the weaker ones already fell on their knees and began to whisper their prayers, some couldn't bear it anymore and were knocked unconscious.
The arcane circle had all but vanished but there was still a small spot on the seed that wasn't golden if one didn't look closely it would be missed, the seed was still absorbing what it could from the blood albeit very slowly now, but elysia was patient she waited until it was done and then the castle began shaking again.
The seed shot up in the air and began to vibrate furiously, at this point the arcane circle had disappeared completely, there were cracks on the walls and different equipment in the laboratory, renjiro who was asleep was forced awake.
Energy began shooting from the seed into her body, caelia started to scream in pain. Finnegan and elysandra ran towards caelia private laboratory but couldn't gain access, they could only see her hair floating in the air, Finnegan released all his energy wanting to break through the doors and rescue caelia but a burst of energy knocked him and elysandra out for good.
Renjiro stood from his bed and saw that myoko was knocked out, the energy he was feeling felt like natural and comforting, he was drawn to it so he decided to start walking towards the source of the energy, this led him towards the lab
