Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 - Pleasing Mr. President's Daughter

Kirana woke up first and her eyes swept around. After that, she sighed because she was in the VVIP room intended for Malin whose operation was successful and there were no problems after being observed for two hours by the doctor.

Then Kirana's father immediately went to Austin Hospital Jakarta to continue treatment. When he arrived at the hospital, he was immediately taken to the ICU for postoperative care for a week. Hearing this, the girl decided to camp in front of the ICU to look after Malin, made Rasta open an inpatient room at VVIP, then persuaded the girl to want to stay there.

The president had also asked the hospital to place a single bed for the lady and Mayla to sleep on. Meanwhile, he just sleeps on a Palembang mattress near the bed.

Returning to the lady, her eyes saw Rasta still curled up sleeping, so she observed it.

'This man sleeps so peacefully on his face. But when emotional, his face is terrible like Rawana's face. Huh, why am I stuck in his life, huh?'

She then turned his gaze to Mayla who was fast asleep in her arms. This little girl observed, then her smile was visible.

'This kid is really cute. Why does such a good child have a terrible father, huh? Did her mother die as a result of being abused by her emotional father? Ish, I don't want to have this child's father's husband'

She feels sorry for Mayla's fate, who is thirsty for a mother's affection, but she doesn't want to continue to be in Rasta's life. She hated that man, moreover, she started to think that the cause of the death of the president's wife must have been the result of being abused by this easily emotional man.

'I have to move my father to another hospital,' her heart whispered thinking of moving Malin to another hospital, 'I still have the 5 million, enough to move him to another hospital. Then I started selling food again to continue my life and my father's.' she also planned her future, 'I'm sorry, Mayla,' she whispered to the boy's mind, 'I can't continue to be a mother to you. May God soon give you another mother who can control the emotions of your father who loves you forever.'

Slowly she inched away from Mayla, then carefully lowered her feet one by one from the bed so as not to step on Rasta. But just as she was about to raise her body, the little girl woke up. It seemed that the girl felt sleepless in her mother's arms, Kirana.

"Mami!" Her voice was also heard calling the girl who was seen immediately lifting her body to leave the bed, "Mami!" she cried sitting up straight as she drew closer to her mother, "Where are you going, Mami?" her mother asked because she felt the lady was going to leave her.

Kirana sighed, feeling that the little one had inserted herself into the child's heart and mind.

"Mami wants to go to the bathroom," she said while caressing her little one's face affectionately, "Wanna brush my teeth, then find breakfast outside the hospital for all of us," she said making up a story to erase the feeling of that cute lady who knew she would leave her.

"May come with mami!" Mayla stretched her hands forward, "Please, mami." The whining is spoiled.

Kirana sighed again, then took this little girl's body into her arms, then slowly lifted her body, then carefully stepped over Rasta's legs.

Not long after, the mother and daughter brushed their teeth in the bathroom, continued to wash their faces, then returned to the room. Kirana lowered Mayla from her arms, then took the wallet from her bag that Rasta kept in the wardrobe, and then took the little one away with her.

"Mami," came the voice of Rasta's daughter, who looked happy and kept holding Kirana's hand, "Where are we?"

"Get out of this hospital." Said the mother as she brought them into the elevator, immediately pressing the ground button, "We're looking for breakfast there, honey."

"Are we going there using papi's car?"

"No honey, we're walking." Kirana patiently gave every answer to the questions Mayla asked. "It's still early, the air is cool, so it's good for us to enjoy walking," she added.

"Yes, yes." Mayla nodded her head cutely, "Mami, what are we looking for for breakfast?"

"May like what?"

"May likes roasted rice and sandwiches made by mami."

Kirana gasped hearing this, then rubbed the tip of her long nose a little, realizing that she had made delicious food for Mayla, so that the child was addicted.

"Em, later mami will make it when we go back to papi's house."

"Okay!" Mayla agreed with a cheerful voice making her face look even more adorable.

Kirana smiled at this, then ruffled the hair on the little one's head a little, making the child shake her arm.

They arrived at the ground, then proceeded towards the exit of building B which was connected by a corridor to building A where the main door was. In building A, the lady stopped by the ATM platform to withdraw some cash for shopping. She was a little surprised because her balance was over 5 million.

"Ish!" she felt who had added the money to her account, "It must be Rasta who made the transfer. Ish, how did he know my account number?"

From Vian who was told to find out from Jakjol Company. Rasta needs the lady's account number to send her girl's living expenses while not working. This is another part of his responsibility to miss.

While at VVIP, Rasta woke up and immediately looked at the bed, and immediately jumped up.

"Good grief!" he whispered, "Where are Rana and May?" he didn't see Kirana and Mayla, "Ish, I was too sleepy so I didn't watch them." He cursed himself, then immediately put on slippers, then rushed to Rachel who was sleeping on the long couch, "Icha! Icha!" the man woke up by shaking the younger sister's arm, "Icha, wake up! Icha!"

Not long after the younger sister woke up, "What's wrong, kak Rasta?" asked the older brother with half-sleepy eyes.

"You saw Rana and May?"

"They're in bed, kak."

"They weren't there."

"Maybe in the bathroom, because May has to go to school."

Rasta immediately darted to the front door of the room, tapped gently,

"Rana! Kirana!" called Kirana's name, "Rana, are you in with May? Rana!"

There was no answer, only Vian approached the president.

"Sir." Rebuked his superiors.

Rasta turned his gaze to his assistant, "You saw Rana and May?" the assistant immediately asked because he felt that Kirana and Mayla were not in the bathroom.

"I didn't see it, sir."

Rasta gasped in surprise to hear this, "Ish!" he whispered, "Last night I told you to take care of Rana and May, why did they disappear, you don't know?" sprayed out the assistant who didn't take good care of the lady and the little one.

"What's wrong, Rasta?" Bastian's voice sounded when the figure approached the young master accompanied by Rachel.

"Opa," the president immediately spoke, "This is Rana and May disappeared from Rasta." He said explaining why he reprimanded Vian, "Rasta have looked in the bathroom, but they weren't there. Rasta also asked this to Vian, but Vian said he didn't see them."

"Sir," Vian quickly interrupted this conversation, "I didn't see Miss and Miss May, but Marko did."

Rasta gasped hearing this, then, "Call him here, so I know where Rana and May are."

"Excuse me, sir, he is in charge of escorting the miss and the little miss secretly according to your instructions, right?"

"Then where is he?"

"Across from this hospital, because Miss Kirana is looking for breakfast there."

"Good grief!" Rasta was startled to hear this, "Hais, this isn't right!" cursed at the situation that occurred, "Let me catch up with them." He also decided to follow Kirana and Mayla.

"Rasta," Bastian interrupted quickly, "It's okay for them to go there, you don't need to follow." He said asking his grandson to stop panicking. "You have to believe that Rana will take good care of Mayla, then she will come back here." He felt that his grandson was afraid that Kirana would run away and take Mayla too.

"Rasta knows that," Rasta snapped, "Rasta believes Rana is a good girl, but what Rasta is worried about is that she is still sick. Then from yesterday less rest."

Bastian smiled, "Calm down because opa knows that Rana is strong. Why can I say that since yesterday she has sincerely been by Pak Malin and Mayla's side? Her affection strengthens her physically and psychologically."

While outside the hospital, Kirana and Mayla were waiting patiently for their orders to be wrapped in yellow rice sellers. The lady who used to be an ojol driver knows that across from Austin Hospital, several street vendors are selling delicious, and clean breakfasts.

Mayla, who was taken for street food shopping for the first time, seemed to have an appetite for yellow rice and the complementary side dishes. Kirana bought several packs of plain yellow rice because the side dishes were asked to be separated. While not far from them, Marko faithfully looked after the two of them.

After their order was finished, Kirana immediately took Mayla back to Austin Hospital so that Rasta wouldn't worry about the beautiful girl, she had taken away. The girl knew that there was anxiety in the president's heart because until now she was full of grudges and anger towards the young master, afraid of taking it out on the president's daughter.

However, her thinking is not entirely correct, because Rasta is more worried about Kirana, whose condition is still sick.

Kirana saw Mayla walking happily holding her hand. Her heart could not leave the girl who depended on her affection. She had never given birth to a child, but Mayla knew she was a mother loving her.

"Mami!" Mayla's voice was heard when they stopped their steps, "Mami," called again by the mother who saw it, "May, can I buy that?" she also pointed out the many plastic balloons of various shapes tied to the handlebars of the seller's motorcycle.

Kirana looked there, then smiled, "Yes, dear." Her reply then led them to approach the balloon seller who was not only selling balloons, but a kletek cart made of flip-flops with a bamboo handle, and hammers made of plastic material filled with skewers. "Mas," The seller who was busy being contacted by several children and their mother was reprimanded, "How much does one balloon cost?"

"Cheap, Madam, only 10 thousand."

"Okay." Kirana understood, then turned to Mayla who was engrossed in observing all the balloons. "Honey," was rebuked by her daughter, "Which balloon do you want?"

Mayla pointed at the balloon in the shape of Doraemon's head.

"That is it?"

"Can I add one more, mami?"

"Can. May what form do you want?"

Mayla pointed at the hammer, "Is that a balloon too, mami?" Kirana asked because she had just seen the toy.

"Not honey. It's a hammer toy." The mother answered patiently with her daughter's wise chatter, "Mas, please borrow these hammers first." she asked the seller to give her one of these toys.

The seller immediately gave the toy to the lady.

"Look, honey." Kirana showed off the toy, "This hammer is filled with styrofoam and two rattles, so if we hit it like this." The toy was explained while striking the tip of the hammer on the motorbike saddle, a moment later the stereotype grains and rattles in the hammer were seen jumping and a clicking sound was also heard.

"Fun!" Mayla looked happy to see Kirana's attractions, "Mami, May wants the hammer!" she said extending both hands to the hammer held by the mother.

"Yes, honey." The lady gave the toy to the little one's hand, then, "Mas, please have one Doraemon balloon." she asked to get the balloon of her Rasta daughter's choice.

"Okay, madam." Said the seller looking happy because Mayla liked the toys being sold. Immediately the balloon of the little one's choice was taken, then tied to the end of the rope with a stone wrapped in thick black plastic, then given to the girl, "Here is the balloon, little girl."

"Thank you, Bang." Mayla happily took the balloon rope.

After that Kirana paid fifty thousand.

"Return to it, Mas." she said she did not want her money back, then immediately took the child away.

It turns out that Marko wasn't the only one watching Kirana, but two other men were doing it from their vehicles. It looked like the two of them were holding back their anger seeing the girl walking holding the cheerful little one.
