Lazari and Zach were heading to the castle where Zach would throw Laz into a cell until Satan decides her fate. The two of them were crossing the street and Lazari spotted three familiar faces. The little girl and her mother who she met not too long ago and...Ren. Laz looked Ren in the eyes and shook her head. Zach suddenly stopped in front of her and looked at Ren.
- You know her?- He asked the swordsmith.
- ...Only from the rumors- Ren answered. It was clear that she had to keep her connection to Max and the others a secret.
- Mommy..why is that knight taking the nice lady away?- The little girl asked.
- I...I don't know sweetie- Her mother answered lying to the child. The kid walked over to Lazari.
- Miss? Why is Mr. Knight taking you away?- She asked. She seemed so innocent.
- I am taking Lazari away because she is a threat little girl..and threats like her shouldn't be approached- Zach looked at the girl. His gaze was cold and threatening.
- Zach I know you hate me but be nicer to the poor girl!- Laz looked at him then at the girl who stepped away from her and ran to her mother.
- Whatever..let's go- Zach rolled his eyes and started walking away forcing Lazari to follow him.
- I hate you- Laz said while walking behind Zach.
- The feeling is mutual "princess"- Zach said mockingly.
- Quit calling me that. I wasn't one to begin with and I don't want to be one- Lazari rolled her eyes. - Besides..it's not like my title would change anything- She said while walking.
- You don't want to be one? Hah!- Zach laughed. - Do you even know how lucky you are to be royalty? Most people would kill to be in the royal family. I don't even understand why you are so ungrateful about your title- He mocked her. "Ungrateful"...a word she heard many times growing up in God's castle. Maybe..she should've just kept faking that she was Angelica and she should've stayed in heaven after all.
Laz was silent the rest of the way. She saw the looks of the demons as Zach led her away. Lazari still had the hair dye in her hair making her look like Leila. Every demon was shocked as they saw her passing by and whispered amongst themselves. Zach looked annoyed by the whispers and even more annoyed by how many people came out to the streets to see just who he was taking away.
- Mom look! Isn't that..- A demon started.
- It couldn't be her, right?- Another one said.
- There is no way...isn't she supposed to be dead?- A teenager whispered.
- Executioner Zach!- One of the demons called out from the crowd. - Is that girl who you are leading away who we think it is?- They asked.
- ...I can't give information out yet- Zach answered coldly and pulled on the chains to keep Lazari moving.
- I'm moving, I'm moving..jeez- Laz said as Zach pulled the chains.
- Executioner Zach! Let that girl go!- They suddenly heard a female voice. A guard spoke up from the crowd. By the looks on the faces of the bystanders, this wasn't an everyday occurrence.
- Commander Alexa...what's the meaning of this?- Zach spoke up. The woman had her armor on but her helmet was off showing her black hair with dark blue tips.
- Let's drop the formalities brother. Just what in the two realms do you think you are doing? You can't just chain a girl up and lead her away in public!- Alexa said in a serious tone.
Does Zach have a sister? Lazari thought. By the looks of it, there were conflicts between the siblings.
- Tch..Leading a dangerous person and a potential threat to this realm away. Can't you let me do my job without trying to interfere at least once?!- Zach yelled.
- Zacharias Michael Flint! You will not be yelling at your older sister like this!- Alexa spoke with a more threatening tone this time.
- Oh just shut up and let me do my job for once!- Zach rolled his eyes. Seems like the tension between the siblings was going to get worse than ever. Lazari stayed silent watching it all play out. Zach reached for the hilt of his sword and so did Alexa, that was when Laz decided to speak up.
- H-hey I know I have no say in this but let's not make a scene...- Alexa looked at the princess and went closer to her.
-...She is Lazari isn't she?- The commander glanced at Zach.
- Yes she is. Why?- He looked at his sister.
- She looks a lot like..her- Alexa said.
- Tch..she isn't her so don't act like she is innocent just because of her looks- Zach looked his sister in the eyes.
-...Why do you think I'm a threat, Zach? You never told me just why and how I'm a threat to this realm.- Laz said demanding answers for once. She had enough of being kept in the dark since she grew up living like that.
- I can't say. It's classified information- Zach said. - All I can say is that you did something no one should've been able to do and that makes you a threat- He looked Lazari in the eyes. His deep blue eyes let out a faint glow.
- Brother calm yourself. Your eyes are glowing- Alexa looked at Zach and placed a hand on his shoulder. A few seconds of silence followed that and Zach's eyes stopped glowing.
- Whatever. I'm taking her to the dungeons..she is too dangerous to be let free- Zach said looking at his sister and then at Lazari. After he did so he stepped away from Alexa and started walking leading Laz with him.
- Zach! Wait!- Alexa called out causing him to stop. - You know as well as I do that we can't just throw her into the dungeons...She needs to be put on trial- The commander looked Zach in the eyes.
- Fine..let it be a trial by blood then. Inform Satan and the rest of the kingdom..tomorrow the Colosseum opens for her trial- Zach replied and gave no time for Alexa to respond and led Lazari away. Tomorrow she would face trial..a bloody one at that..it will be quite a show.
