"So what if I did?" Li Xun replied coldly.
As he stretched out his hand, a massive halberd appeared in his grasp. The moment it materialized, an overwhelming, brutal aura filled the air, suffocating the entire space.
Holding the halberd, Li Xun looked as though he had transformed into an invincible war god, compelling everyone to look up in awe.
Azure Dragon Halberd!
The same weapon he had used against the red-robed elder was now summoned once more.
The reason was clear—he was facing two formidable Otherworldly Demons, and there was a chance they had hidden cards up their sleeves. Li Xun had no choice but to unleash the Azure Dragon Halberd to end the battle swiftly.

As soon as the Azure Dragon Halberd appeared, it was hurled forward with tremendous force.
The strike embodied the pinnacle of raw power, ferocious and unyielding, like a mountain crashing down. It rumbled through the air, distorting the very void itself.
The demon holding Black Fang's head sneered coldly.

With that, the demon charged into the sky, clenching his fist tightly as he surged toward Li Xun, exuding an aura of unstoppable might.

The moment their attacks clashed, the demon's sneer froze on his face.
'How could his strength be this immense?'
Since his descent into this world, he hadn't encountered a human, not even at the Life and Death Realm, who could wield such force. Yet now, facing a human of the same rank, his once-proud physical strength was utterly suppressed.
"This isn't good!"
The demon shouted, retreating desperately. He extended both hands to block the halberd, but the result was disappointing.
The Azure Dragon Halberd was simply too heavy—like a towering mountain, sweeping through all in its path.
With a loud splatter, his hands turned into a cloud of black blood mist. Then his arms followed, and finally, his entire body was touched by the halberd.
In an instant, he was reduced to a pile of mangled flesh. Black blood and bone shards sprayed in all directions.
"Black Mo!"
The last remaining demon roared in fury.
Everything had happened so fast that he hadn't even had time to react. In his mind, his main task was simply to block Li Xun's escape route.
After all, he hadn't believed Li Xun could defeat Black Mo.
But to his shock, Black Mo was utterly crushed in just one move. His body had exploded into a heap of flesh and blood.
Although Black Mo wasn't dead, his true essence had been severely damaged.

Then, with the corner of his eye, Li Xun noticed Black Mo's rapidly regenerating body below. Without hesitation, he stomped down hard, shattering Black Mo's head completely.
This time, Black Mo's essence was entirely depleted. His headless body slowly collapsed to the ground.

The sound of the demon's body hitting the ground wasn't particularly loud compared to the sounds of their battle. It was almost insignificant.
Yet, at this moment, the surviving Profound Sun Sect inner disciples heard it clearly. Staring at the headless corpse, their expressions were a mix of shock and awe.
"So strong!"
One of the inner disciples exclaimed in amazement.
Earlier, even a Life and Death Realm core disciple, along with two Profound Elixir Realm inner disciples, couldn't stand against three Otherworldly Demons. Yet now, Li Xun alone had utterly crushed one.
At this moment, the unfamiliar senior brother, upon his arrival, had taken on two Otherworldly Demons simultaneously.
It was remarkable enough to face two such powerful enemies at once, but even more astonishing was his ability to instantly slay one of them outright. This was nearly unbelievable.
After all, Otherworldly Demons were notoriously difficult to kill. Yet, under this senior brother's hand, these demons seemed no more than playthings, capable only of defending themselves and not mounting any effective counterattack.
"Senior Brother, be careful of the last demon! He has a black jade talisman that can kill a Life and Death Realm cultivator!"
At that moment, a disciple shouted a warning.
"A jade talisman? So they do have hidden cards after all," Li Xun muttered with a flash of understanding in his eyes.
He dashed forward, relentlessly wielding the Azure Dragon Halberd with terrifying precision and power. Every strike was devastating, giving the demon no chance to use the talisman.
Not long after—
Boom!
Li Xun's black hair danced wildly in the wind as he delivered a final strike, reducing the last demon's body to dust.
As the demon tried to regenerate, Li Xun struck again, extinguishing its true essence entirely.
At that moment, all three of the most powerful demons had fallen.
"Gulp."
Ye Han swallowed hard, staring at Li Xun's god-like figure in the distance. A deep sense of awe and reverence welled up within him.
Is this the strength of Senior Brother Li Xun?
Two demons—no, three demons—defeated without a single injury. If word of this spread, it would surely cause an uproar.
"Master, do you think I could ever catch up to Senior Brother Li Xun in this lifetime?" Ye Han murmured the question in his mind.
This time, his master didn't respond immediately. After a pause, his master's voice echoed faintly in his thoughts:

Ye Han froze.

Meanwhile, Li Xun approached the blood pool. With a swing of his halberd, he struck it with a deafening bang, sending the blood splattering everywhere and shattering the pool into fragments.
The blood pool was destroyed, and the sacrificial ritual was completely disrupted.
The spatial rift in the sky began to close gradually.
"Finally, it's all taken care of."
Li Xun exhaled in relief, putting away his Azure Dragon Halberd. Looking down the mountain, he saw a large number of demons still swarming below—tens of thousands by his estimation.
That was beyond his ability to handle. Saving these inner disciples was enough; the rest would have to be left to the elders of Profound Sun Sect to deal with.
Turning around, Li Xun's face softened with a faint smile as he approached one of the inner disciples.
"Junior Sister, your injuries seem severe. I happen to have a healing pill—take it first to stabilize yourself."
