"Darn it, where are th—" a visibly annoyed girl let out her complaint to the others idling around but got interrupted.
"Over here!" Kevin spotted the couple nearing the area, stood up, and quickly waved to indicate their location.
Lucius and Lily noticed them and started walking toward them in a slow stroll, enjoying the atmosphere around the river.
"They are late...again," a girl muttered softly beside Kevin, her mood low. They had been waiting for them for some time and hadn't started eating, making her hungry.
"Natalia, it's fine. They arrived faster than last time," Kevin reassured her with a shrug before signaling Talon with his eyes to start cooking the meat. He licked his lips, his hunger evident though he was trying to hide it.
"Can't they ever be on time?" frustrated Natalia let out a small complaint, making the others chuckle, though two members didn't agree with her.
