"Do you need any help?" Kevin asked as he noticed Lucius heading towards the back of the store, behind the counter where the crafting section was located.
Pausing in his footsteps, he realized he had been too relentless and in a rush to start, momentarily forgetting they were there.
"No, you guys are free to do what you want. Also, thanks..." He turned his head lightly and shook it, expressing gratitude for them handing over the keys.
"Bah, what are you thanking for?....It's nothing." Charlotte smiled before continuing, "I'll go for a walk and later catch the train. Good luck." She gave him a wink and left, leaving Kevin and Talon exchanging looks.
Noticing that their assistance was no longer needed, Talon leaned in to Kevin with a hushed voice, suggesting, "Let's find something to do. How about meeting those ladies from the army?"
The shop's dead silence made Lucius an unintentional eavesdropper, and he couldn't help but suppress a chuckle.
