Lucius fell silent, his expression shifting and his back damp with sweat as he remembered the scene. Seeing her tightly holding the crown, he sighed, releasing the pent-up breath before dropping a bomb on her.
"I died," he muttered, shocking her.
"What?" Lily looked at him, confused, her head slightly lifted above the shining crowns. She thought she had misheard.
"Lily, I think I died... or came very close to it," Lucius repeated, looking down weakly. Since the accident, he has had time to reflect on what occurred when he fainted.
After that extreme pain, something happened to his body. Thankfully, he was out cold and could not experience the intense transformation, but he managed to piece together some clues.
Firstly, he got very close to death, or even died. Secondly, something saved him, as his health didn't drop. Looking at the crown in Lily's hand, he felt a bit scared; this item was the reason behind it.
