"So, what do you want me to do for this skill?" Lucius asked after Jeni granted him control of the conversation. Grace tapped her finger on the magical desk, lost in thought, before producing an item and placing it on the surface.
"You should be familiar with this," she said lightly, making his eyebrow raise. It was an item he had seen in the past, and he himself currently possessed one.
"The compass... did Emilia tell you about it?" He turned his head slightly towards the girl, who was sitting with a poker face.
Grace and Emilia exchanged a look, and she nodded slowly. "She did. Emilia told me about what you knew from that goblin, Varis, the temple in the sea, and that this can be used to find its location." She paused for a second, noticing him frowning.
"So, it was not wrong for me to attack you. You betrayed me," he said, giving Emilia a murderous look, and she flinched uncomfortably. But then Grace interfered.
