Leaning over the girl who was roasting some boar meat, Lucius decided to test if it was indeed her. He asked, ''What can you cook?'' As he expected, she reacted.
The girl jumped in fright when called out, quickly turning around to see Lucius. Her expression shifted as she narrowed her eyes and rubbed her chin in deep thought finding the face familiar.
"Jeli, correct?" Lucius said her name, causing her eyes to widen as a sense of déjà vu washed over her.
"It's Jeni! And you're Lucius, the guy who has scared me two times so far!" she replied with a mixture of surprise and annoyance.
She quickly remembered something and glanced left and right, her voice rising as she asked, 'How did you find me again in this sea of people?' She took a step back, nervously scanning the crowd as if she had done something wrong.
"It's just your fate; accept it," Lucius said, seeing her scared face. He suppressed his laughter; this girl was too comical.
