A week had passed since Lily's conversation with Grace by the river. Frustrated by the lack of answers, she had thrown herself into training. As usual, she arrived at Lucius' store every morning, easily pushing open the unlocked door, knowing he expected her.
Their routine had become a steady pattern – she would check in on him, spend some time hanging out, and then head off to continue her training.
Inside the store, she found him in his usual spot at the back of the crafting area. His eyes were shut in deep meditation, dressed in simple pants and without a shirt. His thoughts were focused on the skill he was trying to create.
Pausing for a moment, Lily observed Lucius, waiting to see if he would sense her presence. When he didn't react, she decided to make herself comfortable.
She sat down, cross-legged, and began amusing herself by sticking her tongue out and making silly faces in his direction.
