Morning arrived, and Lucius and Lily got dressed. Despite getting little sleep last night, they felt relaxed but a bit tired.
Their activities had continued throughout the night, leaving them with only a few hours of rest.
Thankfully, no one had interrupted them; otherwise, Lucius would have undoubtedly made their lives miserable.
"Lily, for now, we can continue in the city. Let's head back first," Lucius said helplessly to the girl who clung to his arm.
"Fine," she replied with a slight smile. Her first goal had been achieved, and she had taken her initial step in this new world.
"Do you think the faction leader will catch wind of his dead men?" She asked, stretching and subtly emphasizing her curves while adjusting her clothing.
"I don't think so, not yet. No one leaves the city at night; it's too dangerous," Lucius shook his head, knowing that locating someone in the darkness was a challenging task.
