The goblins, sensing the prisoners' escape, scattered in response. Armed and dangerous, they charged toward the group, signalling that they would not hesitate to kill.
Lucius, still carrying Varis, engaged the goblin before him, swiftly severing its head. He pressed on, forging a path through the chaos and towards the safety of the forest.
In the midst of the chaos, some of the people around them were suddenly attacked and quickly killed. They needed to keep moving to avoid being surrounded. A stronger goblin, a Level 7, had joined the fight from behind, but the group decided to ignore it because they knew they would die if they engaged.
