As Lucius continued mining, roars of beasts echoed in the distance, and hurried footsteps of goblins rushing to the frontline filled the air. The mining group stopped working, causing the goblin that was still there guarding them to glance their way. It didn't expect them to work when the monster wave was approaching.
Lucius gestured to the others to prepare, and their faces went pale. They knew they had no choice; it was all or nothing now. The goblin guard also looked around, vigilant for any monsters that might have slipped through.
The sounds of shrieks and roars in the distance showed that the battle was fierce. This was a big wave, bigger than usual.
The sound was getting closer, and the goblin guard spotted a [Black Wolf LvL4] running towards the ditch. The guard, being a level 4 strong goblin, shrieked and ran to confront the wolf before it could harm any of the slaves.
