Chapter 12 - A Journey Across the Ocean

This journey is going to be easy; I've done it a thousand times, although I've always swum and never used a boat, so it will be a new experience.

First, I'll have to build a ship to carry everyone, thanks to my strength. That should be easy... just as I thought, we quickly built the boat and prepared the water and food to take with us, and off we went on our journey.

There were no accidents along the way. I had to catch some fish to feed the people, including a highly developed eel, but it was a piece of cake compared to what I had to face in the dinosaur era. A few months later, we arrived at this beautiful white sandy beach.

[Villagers' Point of View]

Inmo was helping them build a large structure that could stay on top of the water without sinking. He always came up with these magical things. We quickly built this "ship" as Inmo named it, and since it was thanks to his strength that we could easily uproot the trees to use in the ship's construction, nobody objected.

After that, we had to fill the boat with lots of water and some food. Inmo said he could find food during the journey, and we trusted him. Days later, we set off into the sea. As we were far away, Inmo told everyone to get on the boat.

He carried the ship to the sea, and we couldn't believe what we were seeing. It seemed like there were no limits to Inmo's surprises. When we arrived at the destination, Inmo entered the sea and completely submerged.

He disappeared underwater, and when we saw him again, he was already inside the boat. That's when he told us to take our seats to row and move the ship. And so, our journey began, with a calm and cold sea.

Days later, when our food was running out, Inmo, who was looking at the horizon, smiled and shouted for everyone to hear, "FINALLY, FOOD!" After that, he jumped off the ship, diving into the sea and swimming at an abnormal speed towards the horizon. A few minutes later, we could see a gigantic fish leaping out of the water, thrashing about while Inmo clung to its head. After some time, the fish went back into the sea and didn't resurface for several minutes.

We were getting worried when suddenly Inmo appeared swimming on the horizon, coming back to us with the tail of that giant fish. He left the fish by the side of our ship, climbed aboard, and said, "Here's the food I promised. Now, let's prepare it, hehe." After that, he sat on the deck and laughed. At first, we were a little unsure of what to do, but soon we got moving, and some of us went to the fish and started to cut the meat to store it.

And so, the days passed. Once again, we had an accident while moving in the sea. Suddenly, a giant shadow emerged from the depths, followed by a massive serpent appearing in front of us.

The waves it caused were almost sinking the ship. Inmo simply jumped into the sky. At first, it seemed like he had missed the serpent and would fall into the sea next to it. But suddenly, he kicked the air again, moving towards the serpent, delivering a sideways kick to the monster's head, sending it flying far away.

After that, he kicked the air once more and was launched into the depths of the ocean, going after that creature. A few seconds later, blood started to emerge from the sea, and the corpse of that sea monster floated up. Inmo returned to the ship and continued what he was doing as if nothing had happened.

And so, we continued our journey once again. It felt like we had been at sea for a long time. Inmo said we were nearing our destination, and the atmosphere on the ship was quite joyful. However, the weather started to worsen.

The rain intensified, and lightning appeared. But we had encountered such phenomena many times before, so we continued to navigate normally during the night. However, as time went by, the storm grew worse.

It was almost dawn, but the clouds persisted, and the waves were becoming larger every minute. We were starting to worry when we spotted a gigantic wave that was about to engulf the boat. We all panicked, but it was at that moment that Inmo appeared, as if awakened by the rain. He emerged from the resting area of the boat and went to the front.

He stood there, motionless, his silhouette like a mountain that had stood still for thousands of years. When the wave was about to hit, he assumed a fighting stance and punched the wave, generating tremendous air pressure that broke the wave apart. Then, the pressure from his punch reached the clouds and dispersed them as well. The sea returned to its usual calmness, and we could once again see the pre-dawn sky.

Our vision then shifted to Inmo, and we were amazed by him once again. He was a being like us but could battle our worst enemies and emerge victorious, even against nature. It was at that moment that we realized he had become a deity in our hearts. This image of him would be etched in our minds forever, never allowing these moments to be forgotten. We were all immersed in the sight of Inmo bathing in the first rays of the morning sun, like an ethereal being that didn't belong in this mortal world.

After that, we treated Inmo with the utmost respect, but he didn't change the way he treated us, and we were very happy about that, even though nobody showed it in front of him. Days later, we found land, and Inmo was overjoyed, just like all of us.
