Another day, another opportunity to mess up. As I walked through the forest, trying to find a water source, I pondered what to do with my life. Perhaps I will survive until the era of superheroes, and if my powers work as they should, this will be a walk in the park. But what do I do until then?
I didn't have a purpose like in my previous life, but this time I didn't want to waste the opportunity. I don't think I can escape the schemes that this world holds, even if I tried. Speaking of which, are the aspects already here? Or do they only appear when humanity is born? Yesterday, I had a dream, so Sandman might be lurking. Something to reflect upon.
Back to the search for objectives... I think I'll start by choosing a new name. I don't want to use the same name as my previous life. New life, new name. I'll also have to find new clothes since the ones I was wearing are becoming unsuitable. Then I'll search for the meaning of life.
To get new clothes, I would have to kill an animal and skin it. I tried using leaves as clothes, but it didn't work. Damn misleading cartoons.
My quest for clothes was going well. I found a creature that resembled a pig, quite large, over 2 meters in size. I would need a weapon, so I searched for a stone to sharpen and use as a weapon. It took some effort, but I managed to make two.
While doing that, I had another idea. If this creature lives around here, there must be a water source nearby. I followed the creature for a few days and found a water source. At the same time, I devised a strategy to kill Wog, yes, I gave the giant pig a name.
Basically, I would dip the sharpened stones into the fruit that killed me and poison Wog. The best part is that I'm immune to the poison, so I can have a barbecue afterward. Today was the chosen day.
I followed Wog to his lair, and when he was sleeping, I decided to attack, approaching him calmly to avoid waking him up. Everything was going well until, halfway there, the pig woke up, with angry red eyes. I couldn't dodge, and he caught me directly, lifting me off the ground and crushing my ribcage.
It hurt a lot, I won't lie, but I stood firm and got up, facing the creature. Wog tried to attack me again, but this time he failed. I was stronger and more resilient, so I resisted the attack head-on and took the opportunity to pierce him until he died. I fell to the ground, mentally exhausted. I wasn't in danger, but it was truly thrilling.
Now I have to skin him, which will be a lot of work, and I still need to figure out how to make fire. So many things to do.
