Synopsis
All the kingdoms in the world of Gaia lived peacefully, but one day, King Daemon, the ruler of the Kingdom of Helios, the most prosperous and expansive land in all of Gaia, received a dark vision. King Daemon was warned by a seer gifted with the ability to see the future that he and his kingdom would be brought down by a being they called the prophecy. This prophecy would overthrow the Kingdom of Helios and King Daemon, bringing balance and equality to all of Gaia. However, due to King Daemon's cruelty and greed, he opposed the prophecy and desired to eliminate it, which was destined to change their way of life. The seer suggested that the prophecy originated from the Kingdom of Apollo, the realm of healers. For King Daemon, conquering the Kingdom of Apollo would be an easy task since the beings residing there were not skilled in combat. Without hesitation, King Daemon invaded the Kingdom of Apollo and captured all the Apollans, imprisoning them in the Kingdom of Helios. Unbeknownst to King Daemon, one being managed to escape... and that being was none other than Arkcray, the entity destined to bring down King Daemon and the Kingdom of Helios. But how would Arkcray fulfill his fated duty when he is an Apollan who knew nothing of fighting?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Female Dancer

(Kingdom of Helios year 1672)

In a world called Gaia, many kingdoms flourished but one kingdom stood out among the rest—a kingdom known as Helios.

It boasted the largest territory, covering half of Gaia's land and waters. Its inhabitants were called Helians. You can easily identify a Helian by their fair skin, long and pointed ears resembling those of cats which enhanced their hearing abilities beyond that of other races.

The lifespan of a Helian was significantly longer, often reaching up to 500 years. Because of their extended lives, their skin takes a long time to show signs of aging or wrinkles.

Helians are also the most elevated beings in Gaia, thanks to their exceptional combat skills. They are adept at using various forms of magic in their daily activities and in warfare. They had won numerous battles due to their brave warriors and their large numbers.

The Kingdom of Helios is the most prosperous in all of Gaia, ruled by King Daemon.

Daemon is acknowledged as the most powerful king in Gaia, possessing incredible strength and the ability to control fire and lightning—an ability feared by all.

He is also skilled in wielding any weapon, but he often used his Eherion in battles—a powerful spear that possessed unique magic that only he can control.

It is enveloped in flames and lightning whenever he engages in combat, striking fear into the hearts of his adversaries.

Daemon is the longest-reigning king in the history of the Helios Kingdom. He ascended to the throne at the age of 12 after his father's death. As the only child, there was no one else to succeed his father, so he was trained and appointed to be the king of Helios. Currently, at the age of 369, he continues to rule over Helios and will do so until he passes it on to his successor, until he is defeated by rival kingdoms, or until his death.

Daemon desired nothing else in his life but power and wealth. These are the only things that mattered to him. He had no interest in sharing his power, which is why he had no queen or children who could potentially succeed him.

In short, Daemon would seize everything for his personal gain as long as he lived, and in his eyes, nothing could stop him from attaining what he desired.

During his reign, he showed nothing but cruelty to his subjects, ruling with an iron fist and instilling fear in the Helians who dared to oppose him.

However, despite his cruelty towards his subjects, the Helians regarded him as their lord due to the prosperity they experienced under his rule. It was thanks to him that the Kingdom of Helios became a powerful force and a source of fear for many.

...

...

"What do you see in the future, Damina?" Daemon asked a Helian seer named Damina, a blind woman with the ability to see the future.

"My lord, it is inevitable!" Damina replied, kneeling before her king Daemon, who stood tall with his eyes widening.

"What do you see? Tell me!" Daemon demanded angrily, pointing the sharp tip of his Eherion, his spear, towards Damina's neck.

Despite feeling the sharp tip against Damina's neck, she remained calm as if she already knew the events that would follow.

"It's a prophecy! Your downfall, Lord Daemon, and the Kingdom of Helios, is imminent!" Damina answered.

"My downfall and of the Kingdom of Helios? What does this mean? That the most powerful kingdom in all of Gaia will fall? It seems your visions are mistaken, Damina." Daemon said with a sly smile.

"A being with an extraordinary ability, the one who holds the 'Forgotten Power,' will fulfill the prophecy and bring the downfall of the Kingdom of Helios, Lord Daemon," Damina stated.

Daemon seemed to tremble with anger, and flames surged from his right hand.

"Who is this being, and where does it come from, Damina?" Daemon angrily inquired.

"This being comes from the Kingdom of Apollo." Damina replied.

"Ha! From the Kingdom of Apollo? A small kingdom will bring about my downfall? What foolishness is this, Damina?" Daemon smirked, seemingly amused to learn that the prophecy originated from Apollo, a kingdom he considered weak and lacking in the art of warfare and magic.

In Daemon's eyes, the Apollans, the so-called people of the Kingdom of Apollo, are weak beings who does not excel in combat.

They are a group of pacifist citizens who sought peace and equality for all. Unlike the Helians, the Apollans are not skilled in using magic, but they possess unique intelligence and techniques in healing without the aid of magic.  Also, they are the only individuals who possess knowledge in healing in all of Gaia, which is why no one wants to harm them as they are needed.

"Not even half of my army needs to be sent to eliminate this being that you claim who is from Apollo! Is this what I should be concerned about, Damina?" Daemon said.

"You cannot kill him, Lord Daemon," Damina replied.

"Are you insulting me, Damina? Me, the most powerful king of all?" Daemon angrily questioned.

"This being is more powerful than anyone, Lord Daemon. He possesses the 'Forgotten Power' that none of us have. It is a magic equivalent to that of Gods!" Damina announced.

Upon hearing Damina's words, Daemon, full of anger, mercilessly decapitated her shocking the slaves and warriors beside him.

Silence fell upon the scene as they observed Damina's lifeless body lying on the ground. She was a powerful seer who could see the future, mercilessly killed by Daemon.

"Listen to me! Helios will not fall! No one can bring Helios down! I am the most powerful being in all of Gaia!" Daemon shouted, "Prepare yourselves, my troops! We are heading to the Kingdom of Apollo! I, myself, will kill the being that Damina claims will bring our kingdom to ruin!"

"Lord Daemon, but what Damina said is that once you defeat this being who posses the 'Forgotten Power', Gaia will be enveloped in darkness!" said by General Silas, the current highest-ranking general of Helios.

"Are you opposing me, Silas?" Daemon asked while his eyes filled with fury.

"No, Lord Daemon, but I am concerned about the consequences of Damina's prophecy. You know that everything she says is true." General Silas replied.

"In that case, I have a plan." Daemon said, taking a deep breath, "I will imprison the prophecy in the deepest, most hidden dungeon of our kingdom where no one can see that being. Just like its power, that being must be forgotten! Prepare yourself! We are heading to Apollo, not only to capture this being! We will enslave all Apollans! This way, we will be the sole beneficiaries of their healing abilities! And once we conquer Apollo, we will proceed to other kingdoms! No kingdom will bring Helios down!"

"Understood, Lord Daemon." General Silas acknowledged.

"And I want you to send a letter, Silas," Daemon said with a sly smile, "And this is what you will tell the two Kings of Apollo..."

...

...

...

(Kingdom of Apollo, 1672)

It seems like a joyous occasion being celebrated by the Apollans today as it is King Gideon's birthday, one of the rulers of the Kingdom of Apollo.

"You didn't need to go through the trouble, Agustus!" King Gideon said with delight as he sat on his throne, watching all the Apollans rejoicing before him and gathering inside his palace.

"You know I would do anything for you, Gideon. I made a promise to your father that I would be a good husband to you." King Agustus replied with a smile in his eyes filled with immense love for his partner.

Apollo is governed by two kings, Gideon and Agustus.

The two of them rule over the Kingdom of Apollo, and despite both being male, they are also married and upholding the beloved kingdom among their subjects.

Gideon is the sole heir of the late King of Apollo and eventually inherited the throne. He married Agustus, the most skilled healer among the Apollans.

King Gideon and King Agustus desire nothing more than to collaborate, promote peace, and ensure equal rights for all races living in Gaia.

For the Apollans, their process to achieve this peace does not involve violence but rather extends a helping hand to fellow beings, regardless of their race. They travel or are sent to different kingdoms to heal and aid others. Although they do not possess any magical abilities, the Apollans alone have the inherent capability for healing, which is needed by every race.

This is the vision of King Gideon and King Agustus, to assist one another without expecting any reward or favor in return, even if they come from different races.

However, other kingdoms cannot be prevented from waging wars to expand their dominion and their race. During times of war, many Apollans are dispatched to provide healing support.

"Thank you so much, Agustus. If you weren't by my side, I don't know how I could manage to run the Kingdom of Apollo alone." Gideon said with a smile to Agustus.

"You're welcome, Gideon. My love for you is immeasurable. Although we may not be blessed with children, I am grateful that you accepted me into your heart," Agustus replied, holding Gideon's right hand and kissing it gently.

"King Gideon, King Agustus, I have a letter from King Daemon of Helios." announced by a messenger from Helios who suddenly showed up.

"A letter from King Daemon?" Gideon wondered, looking at his spouse, Agustus.

"Let us read it, my love, to find out what Daemon desires." Agustus suggested to Gideon. "Perhaps he wants us to send Apollan healers to Helios."

As Agustus reads the letter from Daemon, he seemed pleased with its contents.

"King Daemon will visit us here, Gideon! He wishes to visit Apollo and bring gifts as a token of gratitude for the assistance we provide in healing their people!" Agustus joyfully exclaimed.

"This is a wonderful letter, Agustus! It seems that our inherent nature of being helpful to all kingdoms in Gaia will pave the way for unity among us!" Gideon said with a smile.

Afterward, they gathered all the Apollans present in the palace to inform them about the upcoming visit of Daemon, the King of Helios.

Arckray's POV

"Wow! So much free food, Cassius!" I shouted, unable to resist the temptation as I addressed to my cat, Cassius, who is always with me.

And he isn't just an ordinary cat! He is a cat with the ability to speak and think like a human being.

Ever since I was a child, Cassius had been my constant companion.

I even thought he was my real parent because I grew up without a mother or father. Nevertheless, he became the father figure I recognized despite our differences.

But even though Cassius is a cat, he taught me things that helped me survive in Apollo.

You won't believe that a cat raised a human! Haha!

"Don't make it obvious that you're sneaking so much food! Someone might see you! Just act casual, Arkcray!" Cassius whispered who's perching on my right shoulder.

"Here it is! I'm being subtle!" I replied as I stealthily slipped the bread into the bag that I was holding.

"That fish! It looks expensive and delicious! Get that one! Hurry before it's gone!" Cassius whispered.

"Just a moment, okay? It won't be you who'll be embarrassed if they see us! It'll be me!" I retorted.

"You're so slow, Arkcray!" Cassius said irritably.

"If you say one more word, Cassius, I'll hang you upside down!" I annoyingly replied.

"Ugh! I wish you never grew old! It was easier when you were younger! You were more obedient! Now that you're a hundred years old, it's difficult to give you orders!" Cassius said to me.

"Tss!" I muttered and approached the place where there were plenty of fish.

"Praise the kings of Apollo! Let us gather for an announcement!" an Apollan shouted.

"I wonder what announcement King Gideon and King Agustus has to make? Let's listen, Cassius." I said.

"Listen while you're getting food!" Cassius whispered.

And as the Apollans gathered in the center...

"There! They're not looking anymore, Arkcray! Quick! Sneak in and get as much food as you can!" Cassius whispered.

"Here it is! Here it is!" I said as I swiftly put the bread into my bag.

"People of Apollo, I have wonderful news from the Kingdom of Helios, the most prosperous kingdom in all of Gaia!" King Gideon announced.

"King Daemon is the ruler there, right, Cassius?" I asked while grabbing food and continuing to sneak it in.

"Yes, he is the king but don't meddle with that because you don't have any business in Apollo! You don't even know how to heal!" Cassius said.

"How will I learn then? Studying is just so tiresome. Besides, I grew up with you, and we've been doing all sorts of things! Haha! You just taught me how to survive outside!" I said, laughing.

"King Daemon wishes to visit Apollo and bring gifts to us in gratitude for the help we provide whenever we send Apollans to heal them. It's a beautiful vision of the Kingdom of Helios joining hands with us Apollans! And because of this, we will celebrate the arrival of the Helian king a week from now! So let us prepare and work together to give him a celebration that will bring him joy!" King Gideon announced, receiving applause from everyone.

"Hey, Cassius! Another celebration! We can sneak in food again!" I said.

"Excellent! And the king of the Helians will arrive! The food they will prepare is likely to be even more delicious!" Cassius replied.

"Have you seen what King Daemon looks like, Cassius?" I asked, "Because I haven't yet."

"You would not want to meet him especially when you see his eyes, because he's terrifying. Besides, he's a very cruel king! But despite that, many say that his striking handsomeness is alluring. Many women want to be his queen, but King Daemon has no time for that." Cassius replied.

"Ah, maybe he's not ready to have a queen yet. Or maybe, he wants a king? Haha! Like King Gideon and King Agustus, even though they're both men." I said, laughing.

"Each race has its own customs, Arkcray. You shouldn't compare them. You should respect King Daemon's decision. All he wants is power. That's why he doesn't want a queen because he doesn't want someone to succeed him on the throne." Cassius said.

"King Daemon is so greedy! But we don't care about that because we live here in Apollo." I said with a smile, and we continued listening to the announcement while sneaking food!

"I want to give a presentation to King Daemon. So, we will invite some Apollans who want to join and offer a dance for King Daemon," King Agustus said.

"A dance? Perfect! I'll probably see some beautiful Apollans again! Hehe!" I said, delighted.

"Stop it, Arkcray! We're going to the celebration to snatch food!" Cassius said.

"You're always about the food, Cassius! You know, I'm going there to have fun and not just for the food! Plus, there might be games where we can win some money! You know I'm lucky with those games. Hehe!" I boasted to Cassius.

"Yeah! But people always end up stealing your prizes! You're too quick to trust the people around you!" Cassius annoyingly said, "Just keep getting the food!"

"Here it is! I'm almost done taking all that they've prepared!" I replied with a smirk.

And while I was focused on sneaking the food, someone suddenly tapped my right shoulder, startling me!

When I turned around, it was none other than...

"King Gideon?" I said, surprised. "Wh-what are you doing here?"

"I've been watching you from afar, Arkcray, and I saw you sneaking the food." King Gideon said.

I bowed my head in embarrassment.

Then I handed him the bag that was filled with food.

"I'm sorry, King Gideon. It's because Cassius was ordering me around!" I said, feeling ashamed.

"Hey? You're worthless, Arkcray!" Cassius whispered to me and retorted.

King Gideon laughed at us, and luckily, he is very kind and gentle.

To be honest, you're the one who would feel embarrassed in front of him if you did something wrong because he wouldn't get angry with you. Instead, he would calmly talk to you to resolve whatever troubles a person.

"Both of you, always fighting with each other. Are you ready to study healing, Arkcray?" King Gideon asked.

"Umm I want to, but, I'm embarrassed. People will just laugh at me because I can't read or write." I said, feeling shy.

"You know what? I've come up with a wonderful idea because of you!" King Gideon said with a smile.

"What is it, King Gideon?" I asked.

"I will appoint teachers who can help the Apollans who don't know how to read and write. It's a noble endeavor, isn't it?" King Gideon asked me with a smile.

"That's excellent!" I replied with a smile to the King.

"By the way, if you want to help with the celebration, we are always open." King Gideon said.

"Will there be anything for us in exchange? Food? Money?" Cassius asked.

"Hey! Cassius, don't speak to the king like that!" I whispered to Cassius.

King Gideon just laughed at us because we were about to start another argument with my mischievous cat!

"Free food and compensation for your help. And, the King of Helios might have more to offer if he likes our reception." King Gideon said.

"Alright, King Gideon! Cassius and I will help!" I said with a smile.

"It's just you, Arkcray! I'll just sleep on the side." Cassius replied.

"Don't expect to share in what I get, okay?" I replied with a grin.

"I'll leave you two now, Arkcray and Cassius. If you need anything, the palace is always open to you both." King Gideon said as he left.

...

...

...

We have started with the preparations for the arrival of King Daemon and I was assigned to help with cleaning the venue where the celebration will take place.

While I am cleaning, Cassius is comfortably lying on the side with his belly exposed. As for me, I am just watching the beautiful women practicing their dance moves as I sweep the floor.

"Arkcray, are you going to watch or clean? It seems like you want to join them in their dance!" Cassius remarked.

"They are just captivating! Especially that one woman who will have the chance to perform the traditional Apollan dance in front of King Daemon. She is the most beautiful of them all!" I said cheerfully as I embraced the broom.

"Stop indulging in your fantasies! I bet you have memorized all their moves from watching them!" Cassius retorted.

"To be honest, I may have actually memorized them. Every move of each dancer, the sequence and everything." I admitted.

"You know, you're actually smart but you're just lazy! If you put in some effort, I think you would become a great healer because you quickly grasp things. You're a fast learner," Cassius said.

"It's just too tedious to listen. I would even doze off when you tried to teach me back then." I replied.

"You really are useless, Arkcray! Just focus on cleaning!" Cassius said.

I continued sweeping while watching the dancers rehearsing, and my body couldn't resist moving along with the rhythm.

...

...

...

And here it is, the day of the celebration where the most powerful king in Gaia, King Daemon, will arrive in just a few moments.

King Gideon and Agustus made sure that this celebration will be well-organized and beautiful.

Even Cassius and I dressed appropriately to appear presentable in front of King Daemon.

As I wandered around, I noticed that the group of female dancers were in disarray on one side.

So, I approached them and asked what was happening.

"Argh! I don't know how I can still dance! I sprained my ankle!" said the woman sitting on the floor, visibly in pain.

She was the same woman given the opportunity to dance in front of King Daemon.

Oh no! This isn't good! Their presentation will be ruined if this woman can't dance. She's beautiful and a great dancer.

"Do you think you can dance?" another female dancer, who was with her, asked.

"I don't think I can dance in my current condition." the dancer responded, worried.

They started to panic and worry since they would be performing in a short while. Even I felt nervous because this is an embarrassment for the kingdom of Apollo.

"Does anyone here know her part?" one of their group members asked.

No one answered because they all focused on rehearsing their own parts.

If you ask me, I know every part of their dance. But I can't join since they're all women! Haha! King Daemon wouldn't be pleased if someone like me, a man, performed a female dance. It might even ruin the whole celebration.

The sound of bells rang, indicating that King Daemon had arrived in Apollo's land.

The group of dancers was restless, unsure of how to proceed when their key dancer who's injured.

"Pay homage to the King of Helios, King Daemon!" shouted one of the guards.

Cassius arrived and perched on my head.

"Let's go, Arkcray, it's starting. You want to see King Daemon, right?" Cassius asked.

"Yes, but there's a problem with the group of dancers. The lady who's assigned for the crucial part of the dance got injured, and the prepared celebration will be ruined!" I told Cassius.

"That's their problem, Arkcray. We have our own duty and that is to sneak in some food!" Cassius whispered.

"Don't any of you know her part?" one of the dancers asked with concern.

"No. And even if I wanted to help and dance her part, I might make a mistake in front of the King of Helios. I don't want to be punished if I embarrass myself!" another dancer replied, and everyone agreed, worried about making a mistake in their solo performance in front of the King.

"What about you, Arkcray? You know every part of their dance, right?" Cassius asked me, and all the female dancers looked at me simultaneously.

"Did we hear that right? You know the dance, Arkcray?" one of the female dancers approached me, holding my hands with pleading eyes.

"Umm... Hehe!" I shyly replied, "I know it somewhat."

The female dancers exchanged glances as if they were planning something.

"Arkcray, we'll split the earnings that we'll get with you! You'll be the one to perform the most important part of the presentation! Okay?" one of the dancers said seriously.

"Me? Are you all crazy? I'm a man and you want me to perform a female dance? Do you want us all to be in trouble?" I said, laughing.

"Arkcray, you're our only hope! No one else knows the dance like you, just as your cat, Cassius, said!" another dancer added.

"Besides, with a little makeover, you'll look like a woman! You have long, beautiful, and soft hair, smooth and fair skin, rosy lips and cheeks, and most importantly, you are already beautiful for a man even without any make-up!" another dancer said.

"No! I might irritate King Daemon. If that happens, he might kill me once he finds out that a man is performing in front of him!" I replied, worried.

"Get ready, you're about to perform. It's just fifteen minutes away, so prepare to go to the stage." one of the event organizers said and left.

"Umm, I think I need to go to my place where I am asked to clean!" I said and was about to run when the ladies grabbed me and refused to let go!

Huhuhu!

"I still want to live! Please!" I pleaded, feeling like they were binding me, "Cassius! Help me get away from them!" I shouted.

"That's your problem, Arkcray! I'm going to eat! Good luck with your dance! Hehe!" Cassius said and left.

"You really are a useless cat and a father!" I yelled, realizing I had no choice but to succumb to the dance group's hold and be taken to a room to be dressed like a woman!

What are you all going to do to me! Huhu!

...

...

...

"There! It seems like you can't be recognized as a man anymore, Arkcray! You look beautiful as a woman!" a dancer said with a smile as she fixed my appearance.

"Yes! You're even more beautiful than us, to be honest! Haha!" another dancer added, seemingly delighted that I was dressed in women's clothing!

They dressed me in a special garment that symbolizes the beauty of Apollan women. It was a thin, white fabric that was truly captivating! It felt like I was wearing the attire of a goddess. They also applied blush to my face, giving me a more feminine look. And since my hair is long, it added to my transformation.

"If you were a woman, Arkcray, many men would be infatuated with you. Maybe even King Daemon himself would develop feelings for you!" one of the dancers commented, and they all burst into laughter.

"Stop it, you guys! I'm doing this because I love Apollo, and I don't want us to be in trouble with other kingdoms!" I asserted, raising my voice.

"Ladies, you're about to perform. Please proceed to the stage," one of the event organizers announced.

"Let's get this one done, ladies!"

I am not a lady! I am man! I have balls!

"I feel like I'm going to throw up!" I exclaimed.

"You can do it, Arkcray! We believe in you! Wear this mask. You know when to take it off, right?" one of the dancers said.

"Can I just not take off the mask? I don't want them to see me!" I said anxiously, unable to calm down.

What have I gotten myself into? If King Daemon catches me pretending to be a woman, what will happen to my future?

Third Person POV

"King Daemon, I and the entire kingdom of Apollo are delighted to have you visit our land." King Gideon said as he faced the King of Helios.

"I am also pleased to come to Apollo. I have brought many gifts as a token of my unwavering friendship." King Daemon replied.

"Once again, thank you, and we hope you will enjoy the presentation we have prepared for you," King Agustus added.

"Presentation? What presentation is this?" King Daemon inquired.

"We have a group of women who will perform a dance in your honor. And there is a part where a lovely woman will dance alone, symbolizing the power and beauty of an individual. A ritual for you as a token of welcoming you here in our Kingdom." King Gideon explained.

"Excellent, I shall watch it before presenting my humble gift." King Daemon responded with a smile.

Unbeknownst to the people of Apollo, Daemon's army was already prepared to conquer their kingdom.

Daemon was merely taking advantage of the celebration being bestowed upon him.

Everything fell silent as the dance group appeared in the center of the stage, ready to perform for the three kings—Daemon, Gideon, and Agustus.

All the women had their faces visible except for Arkcray, who wore a mask despite being dressed as a woman.

"Why is that woman in the center covering her face with a mask?" Daemon asked Gideon and Agustus once the dance group took their positions on the stage.

"She is the woman who will demonstrate excellence in dancing later, performing the dance ritual that symbolizes power and beauty." Gideon replied to Daemon.

"Very well." Daemon responded.

The male musicians began playing the drums, creating a captivating and mesmerizing performance.

The fluidity of the women's movements was evident, as if they were one with the wind, enticing those who watched their dance.

For Daemon, this was a waste of time and excessive indulgence. However, he needed to play along to execute his plan once he recognized the being that would bring downfall to his kingdom, the prophecy that Damina saw in the future.

As he observed, he also kept a vigilant eye on his surroundings, accompanied by a few Helios warriors and soldiers. They scrutinized the prophecy suggested by Damina, not knowing whether the being referred to was a woman or a man.

In a matter of moments, the drumbeat changed, and all the female dancers knelt except for Arkcray, who stood at the center.

Behind his mask, Arkcray felt an overwhelming sense of nervousness. He was about to dance in front of a powerful king, and a single misstep could cost his life.

Taking a deep breath, Arkcray slowly removed his mask, leaving everyone in awe of his breathtaking beauty.

Daemon couldn't help but keep his gaze fixed on Arkcray, unable to look away.

"Who is the beautiful lady behind the mask?" Daemon asked.

Gideon was almost speechless, knowing exactly who was behind it all.

"It's A-Arkcray?" Gideon replied, glancing at Agustus thinking why is he dancing the female dance.

"Arckray? What a weird name for a lady." King Daemon said while still looking at Arkcray and being mesmerized.

They had no choice but to watch Arkcray's dance.

Every movement of his hand was so graceful that no one would mistaken him for a real woman, captivating everyone in the audience, especially with his white, smooth, and flawless complexion.

The men in the audience couldn't take their eyes off Arkcray, who appeared to be an enchanting woman, particularly with his captivating dance and his appearance.

Daemon couldn't believe that he found himself captivated by Arkcray's performance and his looks.

Whenever their eyes met, Daemon couldn't help but grip his seat, as if Arkcray was pulling him towards him with his allure.

Arkcray concluded his dance with a graceful twirl showcasing the beauty of his long hair, which further enticed the men in the audience.

The applause filled the air as Arkcray finished his dance, with no one suspecting that a man had been dancing in their midst.

Daemon was also unable to take his eyes off Arkcray, captivated not only by his dance but also by his appearance.

And then, the dancers bid farewell and left the stage, as if relieved, for Arkcray's performance had touched Daemon's heart.

"I hope you enjoyed the dance we prepared, King Daemon." Gideon said with a hint of anxiety.

"Do not worry. I did enjoy it." Daemon replied, rising from his seat.

"Where are you headed, King Daemon? The presentation is not yet finished." King Agustus inquired.

"I have something to attend to briefly." Daemon replied solemnly before leaving his seat.

...

Arckray's POV

"Wow! You were amazing earlier, Arkcray!" exclaimed one of the female dancers as she embraced me.

"If only you knew, I was so nervous earlier!" I chuckled in response.

"Earlier, I was watching King Daemon, and he couldn't take his eyes off you! He didn't look away once! It means he liked your dance!" they told me.

"That's unlikely to happen! Haha!" I said, "Alright, I'll go change now. I might be mistaken for a girl by the other guys out there if I continue wearing this stuff all over my body!" I added with a laugh and headed towards a room where I could change my clothes.

Once inside the room, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.

"Oops! Who's that beautiful woman I see in the mirror?" I exclaimed in surprise, "Oh! It's me! Haha!" I laughed, speaking to myself while admiring my own reflection, as if I was gazing at a stunning goddess.

I was about to remove the white fabric I was wearing when someone suddenly entered the room, and I was taken aback when I saw the reflection of this creature in the mirror before me.

King Daemon?

My eyes widened at the unexpected guest! And I didn't even get the chance to undress!

He walked towards me, and you couldn't deny the size of this creature, especially up close. You would truly be amazed by his stature!

His ears are also different from us Apollans, as the ears of the Helians are sharp like a cat's ears.

I faced King Daemon and instinctively covered my chest because I was afraid he might find out that a man was the one dancing earlier!

But as I gazed into King Daemon's face, that's when I realized that my cat, Cassius, was right.

There is no denying that King Daemon possessed a unique allure. His eyes are mesmerizing, especially in the light, revealing their intense blue color. His nose is also perfectly shaped, and his body is fair. He looked imposing, and perhaps it was because Helians are generally larger compared to us Apollans.

Within moments, King Daemon unexpectedly grabbed my hair gently, and I was taken aback as he sniffed it!

Wait!

King Daemon!

We're both men!

I couldn't say anything to him, fearing his wrath!

"The scent of a sweet flower lingers in your hair. You're Arkcray, the beautiful woman who danced earlier, right?" King Daemon asked me.

I simply nodded, knowing that he should not hear my deep voice!

In a matter of seconds, he held both of my hands and caressed them.

"I don't know what it is about you, but you're the first woman who has captivated me. I want to own you." he said, leaving me breathless and unable to move properly!
