"It's fortunate you're here, Manager. This merchant seems to be trying to lure away our customers," the clerk exclaimed, pointing an accusatory finger at Kuber.
The manager cast a scrutinizing gaze at Kuber and asked, "Is there any truth to this?"
Kuber maintained a smug expression as he clarified, "I'm not trying to steal your customers. My point is that I can offer these same talismans at a more competitive price."
The manager cocked his head in skepticism, countering, "That sounds quite implausible. Our current prices are already quite reasonable."
Kuber, oozing confidence, retorted, "That's not the case. I can sell them for just 450 stone credits."
Curiosity piqued, the manager requested, "May I examine these talismans?" He turned to Caleb, who shot a sidelong glance at Kuber, silently seeking his opinion.
"Go ahead, Caleb," Kuber confidently urged, meeting his gaze with assurance.
