Addressing his wounds, Kuber stepped out of the room.
"It looks like you're doing alright now, Sir Kuber," Caleb said politely as he waited in front of the room's entrance. Surprisingly, the malicious intent he had previously shown towards Kuber had vanished.
"Yes, I'm feeling much better now, Sir Caleb," Kuber replied with a polite smile.
"That's good to hear. Anyway, let's head down to the hall; everyone's waiting for us there," Caleb suggested.
Agreeing with Caleb's proposal, Kuber followed him. They descended the long stairs to reach the hall where Kuber was surrounded by members of his team and individuals from the Livea family.
"Good to see that you're doing well," Darryl said with a chuckle as he tapped Kuber's back, causing him to wince in pain.
"Thank you for protecting Lady Kuber, Sir Kuber," said Irene, the knight captain for the knights under the Livea family, approaching Kuber with gratitude. Irene was a trusted aide of Rosalyn.
