Maxine was not given the liberty to talk, she was literally swept off her feet and was now carried princess style in the imperial prince's huge arms.
Her cheeks flushed but her anger was still burning inside her and she decided to show him that instead, "Your...your Highness. It is not gentlemanly to carry a married woman in this manner."
Sullivan looked down at the young soul in his arms before he smiled, "And did you expect I lift you up by your neck? Is that gentlemanly enough?" Before Maxine could say that was certainly not what she meant, Sullivan added, "Besides, Princess, I have been trying to be a gentleman, will you take the pleasure to teach me?"
