"So exactly what are you planning to talk about with him?" Grace asked me as she filled her mouth with caramel popcorn.
"I don't know it feels like I have so much to say to him but also at the same time it feels like I have nothing to say to him," I said sitting beside her.
"Take my advice and ask him whatever you want to ask directly and tell him that you are not going to love him, ever," Grace said, getting up and handing me the caramel popcorn box.
Wiping her hands, she continued, "Okay, good luck with your mission today I am going to spend my day with Mom and Dad, Aiden is spending his day with Liam as he takes his anger off him for hiding the truth from him and you my best friend is going to sort your problems… thing with Ian and get back together with Liam till I come back. Oaky?"
"Okay," I said and she left the room with a bright smile. I hope today ends all the drama so we can enjoy tomorrow's pre-wedding shoot with Grace and Aiden.
Stuffing my mouth with popcorn I texted Ian to meet me in the garden after about an hour. While I was sitting silently, I heard my phone ringing, it was dad. Keeping the popcorn box on the side table I picked up the call.
"Hey Dad," I said
"Hello, sweety. What are you doing?" he asked me
"I am in my room stuffing my mouth with caramel popcorn, why?" I asked
"As you are leaving Italy after two days, your mom and I decided to invite you for dinner tomorrow." He said with a smile.
Tomorrow is Grace's and Aiden's pre-wedding shoot, and I am going to go with them for some arrangements but I can make it for dinner at my home. So, after taking a few seconds to think I said, "Yes, Dad I will come."
"Um…" he started "Ava?"
"Yes, Dad, what is it?" I asked as I sensed that he wanted to say something which he wasn't saying.
"I was thinking…" he said taking a pause he continued, "I was thinking if you can bring Liam with you too. I mean we haven't seen him in a long time and your mom and I wanted to meet him, so if you can bring him with you tomorrow for dinner…" he said, smiling slightly I answered.
"Okay, Dad."
"What? Did you say yes?"
"Yes Dad, I said yes."
"How? Are you both back together?" he asked and I shouted "No Dad" Taking a pause I continued "Not yet. And I need to go somewhere now, I will talk to you later."
"Okay sweetie bye, see you both tomorrow at dinner." He said with a merry voice, he was happy knowing he will see Liam. He has always liked Liam first as his sports talk buddy and second as my boyfriend.
I was brought back to reality by Ian's message saying he has reached the garden. Getting up I went out in the garden to see Ian, standing near the pond. \
As soon as he saw me, he waved his hand at me and I waved back with a small smile. Taking a deep breath, I thought. 'Here goes everything.' And walked towards him.
