The driver, Ying Liu, seemed to know what Wu Gang was thinking; the car sped along very quickly, soon leaving Linjiang City and arriving at Sifang County.
Once in Sifang County, the group didn't linger; they merely picked up Chen Ruoyi and continued driving toward the village.
After the car had departed, Wu Gang remembered something. He wondered how the construction of the hotel he had encouraged Zhao Shucheng and the others to co-invest in was progressing. Once the village issues were handled, he would have to make a stop in Sifang County to check it out.
After all, the initiative had been his suggestion, and if he simply washed his hands of it, what would that say about Wu Gang in the eyes of others?
A few hours later, the car rattled along a bumpy country road. This was the countryside, after all, not like in the city. The road used to be even worse until a few families, those with cars, got together to make some improvements. Now it was much better than before.
