With one thing and another, they were running later than usual as they headed to the front door. Kyle waited while Andrea finished slipping into a pair of modest heels, then pulled the door open. Ladies first.
Andrea narrowed her eyes, and he caught just the hint of a smile before she passed completely by—one hand strategically positioned low behind her, shielding her backside!
"Oh I see. It's like that," he said, ruefully shaking his head. "Spoilsport."
Andrea spun and raised an eyebrow in playful accusation, "That comment just confirms that you were looking."
Kyle shrugged and shot her a wink. "Right cheek's on my radar, remember?"
"Anyway, do you mind driving again?" she asked. "I have a call I need to make."
Andrea wanted to call Madison on their way into the office. Understandable. Of course she'd be concerned how Madison might be doing. Given everything that had happened, Kyle figured Madison would be worrying about her, too.
