"Politsiya, svolach…!" Sergei let out a lengthy string of angry Russian curses as he stood and kicked over a chair, yelling and throwing his hands in the air. Kyle tried to scan the room again to gauge the reactions of Sergei's men. Yegor looked displeased at the news, but… he was so hard to read, Kyle couldn't tell if the man just had an excellent poker face.
Sergei held out his hands, raising and lowering them as he took deep, calming breaths. Kyle wondered if someone had tried to teach Sergei anger management techniques, and if the teacher had survived the education…
"Okay," Sergei said. "Okay… the politsiya have him… First time in YEARS THAT THEY HAVE FINALLY—" He stopped to take another breath. "Shane knows what he is doing. They don't know his name, yes? My friend Shane, he knows how these things are done, he has not told the police anything, no?! He has not even told them his name! He is loyal!"
