The next morning, Kyle was busying himself with breakfast. It was Saturday and Andrea wasn't up yet, but he had nipped out to the kitchen after showering to make some preparations. He hoped that he could have everything pulled together in time before she came out.
The tannoy for the front door buzzed. Kyle ignored it. They weren't expecting anyone, and the last time he'd heard the front door buzz like that, it had just been a package delivery. The guy never even answered the tannoy, just dropped the package, buzzed and headed to his next delivery. Kyle figured it was probably something similar. He'd go check the front entry to the apartments when he had a chance to put on a shirt. And if it actually was a visitor, they'd buzz again.
