"Are you sure you want to do this?" Kyle asked Andrea.
"Absolutely," she said emphatically. "Are you sure?"
"Yes," said Kyle, feeling more unsure than he sounded. But he'd made a decision and he was going to stick with it.
Their discussion at lunchtime had been a mix of good and bad news for Kyle. On the one hand, the idea of spending weeks working together was wonderful! On the other hand, the possibility that Andrea would be pulled into other cases if they couldn't justify keeping her full time on his case was not.
