Probably something he forgot. Nevermind. He wanted to try to get back before Andrea woke up. He headed up the steps to the apartment to let himself in. He'd borrowed her key since she'd so conveniently left it out on the counter. Better to beg forgiveness than ask permission. Besides, she'd been asleep. He'd left a note. If he was quick enough, she'd never even know he was gone.
She'd have been bored running errands. And might have stopped him grabbing his overnight bag. Funny how sometimes she still treated him like her 'nemesis.' Like he ever had been! Still didn't understand where she got that crazy idea. Seemed to have a lot of crazy ideas about the kind of guy he was.
