Kyle was so delighted to see Andrea alive and unharmed that he was caught by surprise when Dominic struck him with a vicious blow to the back of the legs. Under normal circumstances, he might have been able to defend himself. With cuffed hands, there was nothing he could do to stop himself from being driven to his knees. He felt the gun barrel press against the back of his neck.
"Mason!" Dominic shouted. "I never thought I'd see you here. Is this mess your doing?"
Andrea stepped forward boldly, her hands still slightly raised. "If you mean the mess of being stood in a run down docks late on a Saturday? Then no, Dom, that's all you. If you mean why your little boat isn't on its way to pick you up anymore, then yes, I had something to do with that."
